Still receiving my copy of Microprose Soccer for the C64 after discovering it in my parents' cupboard a month before Xmas and playing it while they were out, and naturally eventually getting caught in the process...

 12 month subscription to Retrogamer.! that stands out the most though, was the unboxing of the Atari 2600 my folks had got me, with a stack of games. They must have paid a small fortune, but...Best Xmas...ever! (And NO loading issues, went from ZX 81 to 2600.Outstanding!)

Final Fantasy 7 by a mile. I missed most of Christmas dinner because I was busy playing. My dad had bought it back in November, but I'd had to wait!

Pacman Socks?
I hope those socks didn't get pulled too far up your legs otherwise Ms Pacman would have something other than pellets to gobble on

Mine would be my first ever introduction to video gaming, bar the arcades... Astro Wars, Caveman, Munchman and Scramble 'table top' games - needless to say, every other single present was not used for weeks after 8)

Other than that, it would have to be my first entry into 'real' computing - my Atari 800xl and peripherals - still got it sat behind me now with it's twin and many, MANY additions... ahh, Christmas day in my house was peaceful that day... other than the outbursts of 'boot error? , BOOT ERROR, EFFING BOOT ERROR!?!?!?!?! WTF!!!!' and yet it is still my most beloved of all my systems :)

Getting Lunar Jetman and Atic Atac for a present, and then spending all day playing them... ignoring my whole extended family who had driven from the North to be with us... they must have thought I was a right rude little sod. Which of course I was. But I didn't care because I had two cassettes of Ultimate's finest to play all day. Happy Christmas times indeed.

That's one box I wouldn't mind opening
Mine would be the year I had my first taste of 16bit gaming: the mighty Amiga 500 and loading up Lemmings on Christmas Morning. 6 hours later, I was still there :D

I begged and pleaded with my parents to get me a Megadrive for Christmas.... They got me a Snes with Street Fighter 2 Champion edition and B.O.B., really disappointed until I plugged that little grey box of wonder in the television and was hooked!
