Multiplayer in the library level. My brother and I had thrown proximity mines all over the place and it got to a stage where it was practically impossible to move an inch without being blown to kingdom come!

HA HA, Yes. This is what we used to do. Prox mines in Library was just the order of the day. Placing them behind those secrect rising doors always garunteed a frag.

Finding a FPS game which actually tried to do something different - and succeeded.Still the only FPS game/controller combination which is useable outside of the PC/keyboard/mouse

Ah, the game that switched me from my PS1 when it burnt out. Bought a N64 with all the games I'd heard about to see what the fuss was about . I was utterly blown away with what a found, never went back to PS1. Goldeneye was the fave in a selection of gems.

Fave bit. It'd have to be sticking a mine on the back of that nerdy tech guy, then watching him round around the corner in panic before pushing the button and smiling at the following explosion...then the smile fading as your chick assistant tells you off for 'not being nice' and walking off in a huff, leaving you with a 'mission failed.' It was worth it though

Well, every time Izabella Scorupco appears on screen, of course! We're talking about the movie, right?

Plugging one in the back of Natalya's head when she screws up your perfectly planned mission by running into a wall/group of guards/stray bullet.

And knee-skating around the place like a crazy fool in multiplayer! Who needs crouch animations? Not me.

The fist fight that ensued when one of the 4 players picked Odd Job after everyone agreed not to.

Turning the game on and knowing it's going to be good when the Rare logo pops up, then you play the game and it's even better! Failing that, finding the tank round the corner on the runway heh heh heh!

From your options screen gadget watch thing to the mission dossiers before each level, it just looked class all round. but a favorite moment, surely the very first time the camera swings around over the dam and into your (bonds) head, you know your in for something special.

I echo this. Especially on the Library map. Proximity mines + rocket launchers + small corridors = epic win :D
