Burning Rangers - The Saturn couldn't quite take the pace and the graphics were a mess at times, but the gameplay and atmosphere were perfect. Still, Sonic Team never did get around to making sequels to much other than Sonic....Nights anyone?

Bruce Lee! The original is a great game but it practically screams out for another outing with the added bells and whistles - more enemies, craftier level designs, trickier puzzles, a wider range of skills for Bruce to master, end of level bosses/guardians, the list goes on! After 20 years I'm still waiting for a sequel - c'mon Bruce, pick up your bloodied numchucks and take that Green Yamo to school!! HiiiiiYAH!! :)

A lot of my faves did make an appointment with Dr. Sequel, but there are a few great Amiga games I loved that didn't. Cinemaware's 'Wings' is one of them. How about 'The Lost Patrol - Back Home'? It would have been fun seeing Weaver et al doing the shopping and working at a car dealership in the USA whilst coming to terms with the fact that their country hates them. Or 'Perihelion'. Well, the player characters all died at the end of that so maybe not. I would have loved to have seen 'Midwinter 2' get a sequel. However, it was a sequel itself in the first place, so does that count? No? Oh.

Oooo a tough one, but I would have to choose Spindizzy. They could have gone to town with this one with more interesting terrain and obstacles, give your character guns to shoot things with etc and give the different forms you can take different characteristics.

Speedball 2, though essentially a sequal itself it's been in dire need of another one for years as it's possibly the greatest sports game ever.

ESWAT. I always thought Sega failed to take the concept far enough with that game. I suppose the arcade, Megadrive and Master System versions all being completely different means there's actually three games in the series...but still!

Wizball on the CBM64 - I know there was that Wizkid rubbish but I always wanted more of the original, a Wizball 2.

Wizball - how this didn't get a sequel I'll never know (and before you say it, no Wizkid wasn't a sequel). Mind you after playing the awful ST and Amiga conversions, it was maybe for the best

Um, the fact that you didn't like the sequel doesn't stop it from existing!

Elgin_McQueen—Speedball 2 did have a series sequel, in the form of Speedball 2100.

No but the fact that the game was complety different and the original playable characters are not there make it a spin-off rather than a sequal...
1-0 to me... :)

Wizkid is actually the sequel to Wizball from what I have read.

but Wizball 2 would have been great, I would hope!

The Great Escape is one that springs to mind, my memory was refreshed from issue 28.

Possibly not an Escape from a WWII prisoner of War camp but from a reality TV show perhaps :?:
