Going round my ex girl friends house to look at her new prize and joy (3DO Panasonic) and watching her fail miserably to play Road Rash, having my turn and getting onto the 3rd level/stage on my 1st go without any serious effort :)

She wasn't impressed, but then she was my ex and I didn't really care :)

2 spring to mind:

Completing the R-Type arcade machine in my local games shop on one credit losing only 2 lives. The staff were almost in tears-they'd never completed it. Buggered my A levels though.

Completing the first 8 worlds in Wizball on my mates C64 on my first go, he'd had the game a week and still couldn't do it. Then I did it again at the games shop above the next day. Still love the FILTH RAID-WoooOOOOooooOOOO.
