I'd just like to know if this re-release will contain the awful graphic glitches Ioad 2 has :(

I would guess it's an exact reprint of the first batch so yeah, some of the PDF images are god-awful shog... as has been pointed out a few times before to no avail...

The split-off bits you can search from the front menu are a little bit higher res, mind... although to my mind (with several gigs free disc space) still nowhere near enough.

Much easier to lug about than a crateful of mags, but I still wish it had been done "proper"...

It's all worth it though, just for the ability to load them up into Acrobat and modify/delete the entire text as you desire :D

As always, one heck of a bargain. I wonder if there are any differences between this and the original run of eMag 1, such as adding the warning at the bottom of each page that was done for eMag 2.

Just completed collecting all of the Imagine-published issues of Retro Gamer from eBay. :D :D :D

These e-mags would make be nice alternatives to someone who doesn't want to go through all of that effort (or expense).

'gave' = 'sold at vast profit' ?

It's definitely worth the dosh though. Rip it onto a stick and you can take every single issue with you, everywhere - even there!!!

At least, that's how I justified the outlay to myself ;)

hooray... i have almost all of the issues from 31 onwards so this is good news and saves me investing in 30 extra issues! Does anyone know where i can see previous issues' covers so i can figure out which individual issues to ebay?

Click here to see all the covers for the Imagine published issues.

As far as the issues before issue #19, some of the earlier Imagine mags still have advertisements for those back-issues with pics. I'll see if I can post a scan later.

Err no am afraid not 'sold at vast profit' I gave them to my cousin, he's really into gaming both retro and modern. Think at the time I didn't have the room to keep them and he had just finished with his girlfriend or something like that. He's not sure where they've gone - he's moved house since. I didn't have issue one though, and I'll be keeping all my recent ones from now I think.

HOLY CRAP, is that ever awesome!

As soon as I get some moo-lah into my account (should be tomorrow at the earliest), I absolutely WILL be buying Load 1. I'm so happy you guys reprinted them!! I tried *ahem* illegal methods, but I'll now get the 1st 30 issues at about $32 or thereabouts in US dollars (hey, any retro port in a storm, and the US mags don't do retro articles as much, though Nintendo Power is now the exception rather than the rule).

Ordered!

Thanks for reprinting it guys : ) I'm running low on space and might have to consider shifting some magazines so getting the emag works out pretty good for me. Shame not more magazines do these DVD compilations really!
