"triffic" issue again. I like the way you have last ninja on the cover but balance it out for us console only people by having the shinobi article to balance it out. Also i still don't get why anyone cares that Putty Squad was cancelled for the amiga and pc. The snes version came out didn't it? The article says it's nigh on identical to the cancelled versions. Having played the original on the snes and the amiga version i always thought the snes version worked far better control wise.

You can play the snes version on a pc or a wii (with homebrew)... so why is there this big thing about putty squad being a lost game? It isn't! The most we're missing out on is a different title screen or something.

Do you know the feeling when you are watching an old picture book watching old pictures of yourself and reliving special memories that give you a warm fuzzy feeling? That feeling is what I got with this retrogamer with the Shinobi part. I loved all the information that I never knew but reading it was damned hard though (couldn't keep my eyes away from the screenshot and when I thought I could I took my Genesis out of the closet and played some Shinobi <3.).

I'm a little behind and playing catchup (10 week old baby), but I found the two Retro Columns early on a bit naff + too short really, apart from that the content is great.

If somebody held the cover of this issue up to my window at night, it would probably give me a good scare. O_o

I'm late to the party in the U.S. but i just wanted to say that Issue 64 is perhaps the best so far. I've been reading since Issue 7 and while I've missed a few months, I must say that between content and layout this issue just did everything right and re-affirmed RG as best magazine going. Thanks!
