Re: Official feedback for Issue 64
Read the Shinobi feature today, and was (slightly) upset to find that Stuart's got a "new look" for those "Definitive" things he does. I liked it how all the games were boxed out, and you could look up a game quickly. Now it's all in paragraphs and stuff, so you have to actually READ the thing. Bah.
Oh, and Fantasy Zone was on the NES too, and right cack it was.

You're getting the two Stuarts mixed up i think. One's a Hunt, the other's a.... very talented writer with a long and illustrious journalistic career ;]
(the first one's damn good too... not upset anyone have I? I'll get mi coat...)

The Shinobi feature made for a great read, apart from the odd typo here and there.
Great cover and Last Ninja feature too.
It's about time people started to realise :
NINJAS RULE!!

People realised that ninjas rule some time ago. It became a hideous meme with everyone obsessed with the relationship between pirates and ninjas, ruining it for everyone.

Am I the only one, or does the redesign look a bit too much like GamesTM now with the bland beige and white backgrounds? I liked the more colorful layouts before, and I feel GamesTM was like that before their redesign as well. I feel a lot of the Imagine publications are starting to have a bit of a cookie cutter design, and I hope Retro Gamer doesn't lean too far in that direction as well. The editorial is still top notch, just hope you keep the layouts colorful and clean. All in all, keep up the good work with the interviews! - A US Subscriber

Yeah, bring back the colour! And how about some of those little doodles that used to be all over the GamesTM retro section?

Speaking of colour, who did the impossible Speccy mock-up of Halo on page 11 then...?! =-)

Looking forward to it in our shops, there's a bit in it I like the look of.
Is the 'Silent Hill' bit specifically on the makeover? Huge fan of the original game and I'd love to see a good making of on that

Another excellent read RG!
Just one little niggle though on page 101 Homebrew Heroes how does the answer to the last question end? The next page is Bargain Hunt.

Re: Official feedback for Issue 64
As this issue features 100% more me than regular issues, I'd be foolish not to praise it,
.
However did Last Ninja really warrant the cover? I know you couldn't've stuck the Virtual Boy on it, but given a more specific feature on a different ninja, say dressed in white, possibly called Joe, wouldn't that have been more applicable?
Other than that I have virtually no complains, except that they're remaking Silent Hill...which makes me want to kill things...and i doubt in the way the developers want to make me kill things.
