I may PM Darran then. But Lucy has been pretty fast replying until now!

It's probably not an Imagine problem - but a problem with the idiots at Dovetail (the guys that sort out the subs). So far they have taken my new bank details, updated their records, mucked up that update, re-sent a DD request from my old bank - costing me 15 quid due to me and that bank falling out some time back!
I then dealt with Lucy from Subs - and she sorted it all out...................................

Until I got a letter 2 days ago from Dovetail asking me to check my details (AGAIN) and guess what? They had reverted back to my OLD bank account

Now, I don't have a clue what account they are taking money for my subs from, but I missed issue 72 and will have to pay the extra postage to get that one - but 73 and 74 have arrived :?

What I don't need is Dovetail to try and take another payment from my old account - if they do I will be really really pissy!

Use the code "CLASSIC"
Thanks Jet Pilot! Just ordered my subscription. So much cheaper than the $20 per issue they want at book stores!

Why don't you just give them a telephone call? When I have called in the past they have always been more than helpful. You can call them directly at 011 44 1795 592 872 (that's how I call from the USA, you'll probably have to modify it slightly to make it work from the UK...call during normal business hours...you'll speak to a friendly and helpful staff).

01795 592 872 for the UK. And, yes, I never understand why people post loads of messages to a forum that staff don't visit much when they could pick up the phone and get their problem dealt with immediately (and have one of those proper 'conversation' things), but there you go.

I've done the telephone thing - they dealt with it. Then they fecked it up again.

I'll wait for Daz to have a word. Spoken to my bank and they haven't charged me. So no worries - got the last 2 subs.

Hi I am a subscriber to your incredible magazine and have been since issue 54 and let me just say that I'm a huge fan. but since isue 60 i have, on the off chance been getting a few issues in mildly bad condition, spine tears bent corners etc. I beleive this is because the postman forces them through the letter box and in turn bends them etc. I was thinking that possibly you could put card board or use other means of packaging to safely deliver them. This is only a minor problem in what happens to be perfect service. Thanks for listening.

You could just stick an old Weetos box outside your front door with "FOR MAGAZINES" written on it big in felt tip?

You should just tell the postman not to do this. In fact, over here we can file a complaint at our post service if things like this happen. It is their duty to deliver things undamaged.
