Great to see the forum is up and running - love the OSX style Aqua theme. Very nice!

Nice to also see fellow posters from the old RG forums making a return. That LeeT seems impossible to avoid ;)

So is the launch still set for the 8th? And more importantly... Will it have a retro-stylee festive cover? :D

Yup, it's still ready for the 8th :D

Sadly, Oli couldn't commit to a cover for the new issue, but what's on it still looks lovely 8)

It's great to see some of the old crew on here and hopefully the ranks will swell over the coming weeks. I can't wait for the 8th, it seems so far away. :(

On the subject of covers, I'd love to see a hand-drawn cover every month. With Oli Frey, Wil Overton, Shigeru Miyamoto, Susumu Matsushita, and loads of other game-related illustrators having a turn it would be amazing.

Ah, a lucky guess at a URL, and here's a new Retro Gamer forum. :)

Counting the days now -- the launch of NRG is a bigger event than Christmas if you ask me.

Still no offer of any free issues though. :-(
