For years I am running a small website containing HTML-ised reviews of Amiga games. Last year I decided to muscle my MySQL- and PHP-skills and create a database for it. I noticed with some minor tweaks such a database can also be built for Retrogamer articles.
The main goal of the Retrogamer database is that you should be able to find any game that got covered. If the game contains a screenshot and a couple of words are devoted to it in an article, an entry is added.
In the database you can also search for subject (Retrorevival, Future Classic, etc.) people who got interviewed, hardware, publisher, author, issue, month and year.
The number of indexed magazines is far from complete and some issues are incomplete (I get them from https://ia9
03103.us.archive.org; my physical magazines-collection is stored in moving boxes somewhere in the country).
Anyway, this is the address, let me know what you think:
