Re: Issue 84 request thread!

If one of my favorite comic titles has three rubbish issues with no sign of change I drop it. It's a simply case of not spending what little disposable cash I have on stuff I'm not interested in The thing is though our last three issues haven't been rubbish. You're confusing your own personal opini...

Re: Issue 84 request thread!

Well that's great. As long as all things are balanced. I'm sure the Atari, Commodore, etc fans feel the same way. As long as favoure isn't given to one company then I'm happy, but surely you can see how people would start having alarms ringing when three consecutive issues are Nintendo-heavy. This i...

Re: Issue 84 request thread!

I hope that's a "no" to the request of hints because if you're so blatantly against doing a Sega-centric issue after the Nintendo-kissing of the last few issues you've just lost yourself a reader. If there is one thing I can NOT stand it's double standards.

Can we get any hints as to what those may be? A Sega special, perhaps? (Please, please, please  )

Re: Homebrew - Love it or loathe it?

I must say I'm amazed that the Lemming s homebrew port for DS hasn't been covered. It's an absolutally amazing conversion and works beautifully on the system. Well I'm not aware of it. As I've already stated I don't particularly care for homebrew, which is why I freelance it out to someone who does...

Flashback is a great idea. But what about Master of Darkness on MS? Love that game!

Re: From the Forum question for issue 84

The Sega Master System complete with Ghostbusters game. Why? Because Ghostbusters was and is my favorite movie and that game and that console started my love for digital adventuring which now has me spending way too much money on old games and quite a bit on new ones as well.

Re: ISSUE 82 - Official Feedback Thread

I think young-uns like that, really, should be shot. That's a bit harsh, isn't it? I mean, if they are too young have had experience with something it's not really their fault. Yes, it shows a certain level of ignorance on their part, but if they aren't of "the time" it's easy for them to have miss...

Re: Issue 84 request thread!

Ditto. I don't subscribe to the religious overtones of Christmas or agree with its commercialism so I'm happy for the mag to not have a Christmas cover. Many of us dont either, i'm an atheist, just its a good nod to the old days. Take the retro compilations with the different colours in the corner,...

Re: Issue 84 request thread!

It's too cliched to do a Christmas cover every year. It's not as though we've never done one before. Pish and tosh, sir. Everyone wants a Christmas cover! Well, I don't. Frankly, I don't get what everyone's infatuation is with some kind of twee cover with a bunch of snow on it. Far be...

Re: ISSUE 82 - Official Feedback Thread

Today while on the practicum portion of my secondary education course I was at my desk packing up after class with RG #82 sitting on the desk. One of hte kids came in to get somethign and spied the mag. He flipped through it and said "some of these games look cool, but they are so pixilated." I expl...

Re: Issue 83 Feedback

I would find it a bit odd if there was no Nintendo content...they are the most important company in video gaming (old and new) The covers have been quite nintendo heavy lately - but so what.... I have to agree with the earlier comment - find something constructive to censored about..... The magazin...

Re: Issue 83 Feedback

And so the Nintendo love-in continues for another issue. *sigh* Gotta admit that was my reaction too. An entertaining start to the letter's pages this month, I thought. The more Nintendo love the better for me, but is RG really following up an issue with a Donkey Kong Country cover and a Bond artic...

Re: How good is Shenmue?

Shenmue is brilliant.....until you have to find the Hell's Angels (or whatever the bike gang is called). Since originally playing up to and including today (which involved multiple re-plays form the beginning ) I have NEVER been able to come across those idiots. I even have the Primia guide, follow...
