Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

I went to the Switch preview event in Hammersmith over the weekend, was a right nice morning out. Switch is basically what Wii U should have been, it feels really sleek and small. Biggest issue for me (and one that none of the event staff could answer) was what happens when a child, or a clumsy guy ...

Been playing a lot of Animal Crossing New Leaf since the recent update, recently started CodeName STEAM as well and enjoying it a lot.

Re: Wii U Owners Thread - Including User IDs

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2016-12-13-yooka-laylee-cancelled-for-wii-u-due-to-unforeseen-technical-issues Yooka-Laylee cancelled for Wii U. Gutted but not overly surprised, was looking forward to this a lot and due to my increasing lack of gaming time I probably won't be upgrading for the for...

Re: Which machine had the best games per its overall output?

I'd have to go N64, considering it had about 350 or so titled in its lifetime a huge chunk of them are excellent, some were groundbreaking and still have their influence felt today, and several titles are still relevant (and arguably standard bearers) for certain genres today.

Re: Games you have loose that you need boxes and manuals for

Majority of my N64 boxes are such rough shape it barely seems worth getting boxes for my loose carts. Would be nice get a Goldeneye manual replacement though, I lost that somewhere along the way.

Re: 3DS Games discussion/Collecting thread

Don't suppose any kindly 3DS Hyrule Warriors Legends owners have a Wii U character code they won't use? I was sent one buy a friend but it doesn't work as its an NA code, so I gave it away on twitter

Re: 3DS Games discussion/Collecting thread

My 3DSXL went missing on a bus on saturday. Aside from the fact that ive had to drop £100 on replacing it, the main worry I had was that I had lost nearly £300 worth of eshop downloads when it went due to the single account system. Fair play to Nintendo, I wnet on the livechat and they unlinked my N...

Re: Wii U Owners Thread - Including User IDs

Picked up FIFA 2013 yesterday. I didn't realise quite how badly EA had gyped Nintendo till now, its a laggy mess of a port that plays worse than any FIFA ive ever played. Unfortunately its also the only football game in the console :/

Re: Wii U Owners Thread - Including User IDs

well all I found was a nunchuck for £6 which is a bargain and I needed one,I think the going rate is £15. little bit gutted I didn't find a good bargain on a wii motion plus controller or a pro controller but I guess its the luck of the draw, I got the very last nunchuck they had in that particular...

Re: 3DS Games discussion/Collecting thread

I know what you mean, 2014 was really quiet on the 3DS front, I'm struggling to remember much of note apart from Smash Bros and the Pokemon remakes. I still play mine regularly, though I do a lot of travelling which helps. Theres been some decent eshop stuff to get me through the year and Smash Bros...

Re: Amiibo

Preorders for Wave 4 finally went up on Amazon UK and all except Wario and Charizard sold out in a couple of hours. Really wanted a Lucina and they've just vanished. Gutted.
