Re:
Is there any reason why you are looking for Japanese point'n'clicks? I think the best ones have a least an element of humour in them , and that would possibily be difficult to transfer to English? In fact, come to think of it , are there any decent PNCs that don't have some humour in them? Well, if ...

Re:
This isn't the place to discuss it, but the aim of Gamebase64 is to document ALL games software for the C64. That includes fan-made levels/games, BASIC, machine code, commercial, type-ins - the key word is EVERYTHING. What is even more amazing is the extras - MP3 files of audio tapes, scans of cove...

Point'n Click adventures
Does anyone here know the names of some the best Point'n Click adventures on any system (especially the japanese ones, with english translations) that one should play? I'm currently playing 'Phoenix Wright' on the DS, and loving it! Also played Snatcher on the SegaCD, and all the old LucasArts games...

I totally agree! It was a fun read in the "old" RG – but now it's just without any reading value. Please bring back the "old" writing style!Dudley wrote:Auction watch was better as an article. It's very dry as just a list of numbers.

Idea for new regular!
How about a page for the most popular classic computer/consoles in the back of each issue of RG? One page called 'MSX', covering what's been happening this month on the MSX scene, another one called 'C64', 'Atari' etc. That way each month there would be something for everyone, and still not fill up ...

Szczepaniak, I am a bit surprised that you didn't mention the MSX at all (or did you mean MSX when you wrote NEC?). Surely you, of all people writing for RG, should know how important the MSX was to the japanese. Ofcourse the Famicom was the first major console platform for them, but as for computer...

I was very disappointed with the Imagine company profile in issue 21, so I was a bit sceptic about the U.S. Gold feature in issue 22. However it was easily the best article in the "new" Retro Gamer so far! The problem with the Imagine one, was that you had no interviews with anyone you worked there ...

Bargain Hunt: Oh no! Not again!?! Please don't tell me you'll have these SIX pages in each and every upcoming issue of Retro Gamer! What a waste of pages! The Retro Auction Watch used to be a very good read in the "old" Retro Gamer issues, and it's a shame it's now reduced to some simple short infos...

Retro Gamer #20 review
Okay, so I read through the whole thing, and here are my thoughts about it. The cover: Great use of Overton illustration. I hope that you'll continue to have him and Oli on the frontcover, the same way that Famitsu use Susumu Matsushita! The "leg" in the letter 'R' in the Retro GameR logotype still ...
