Re: SEGA / Blaze Ultimate LCD portable with SD slot

Yeah, some of the ports weren't that good... But one has to admit: Mega Drive was the ultimate 'home-arcade' experience... What I don't understand, though, is that they release it without HD-functionality, and ask € 50 for it. Within here and a couple of years no-one will be without a HD-tv; and I d...

Re: SEGA / Blaze Ultimate LCD portable with SD slot

I've seen one today at the MediaMarkt store. They've released a arcade-stick with the same features as well (20 same games & SD-card funtionality). It looks good (see: http://hyperkin.com/index.php/retro-gaming/retro-system-atgames-arcade-fighting-stick-plug-n-play.html), overhere, in Belgium it goe...

Re: Issue 81 - Official Feedback Thread

Nothing really in there for me this time; but looking forward to the Mario-issue!

Future Classics sounds promissing! I really like the idea. (But didn't Darran once said that the day the PS2 would appear on the cover of the mag, he would run away? ;-))

Re: Your best gaming moment

Must say... Bought Tekken 6 with arcade joypad for Xbox 360 last week... It knocks out my previous all-time FAV'gaming moment (which was Choplifter on C64).

Re: From the Forum question for issue 77

'Where's my sword?'; written by a mate of mine on his C64 and given to me on tape! You started finding yourself in the attic of your grandma's house. You could go into the 'dark closet' and be eaten by a giant mouse - and game over; or you could go down the stairs and... find the sword!

Re: SOR2 - First impressions

The first thing that really strucks me, is how polite the enemies are. When you're in a street full of fighters, and you're fighting one guy, the other guys will wait untill you're finished to have a go at you. FIGHT ME, but await you're turn. Hilarious!

Re: Official Issue 75 Feedback thread

I think this is one fine issue of our favourite mag! My highlights: Retro Booty : nice 'n tiny piece, always :D . I tried to order the ' Joystick with 99 C64 games ' from play.com, but unfortunateley they don't ship to Belgium. Back to the Eighties : which learned me that Spy vs. Spy is looking a lo...

Re: Official Issue 75 Feedback thread

Got my one yesterday - and firstly, I always buy mine at the newsagents round the corner from mine (or WHSmith if I'm passing by), and every single one of them has a scuff at the bottom of the spine as well. In which case, I'm led to believe that maybe it IS deliberate? Or just a strange coincidenc...

Re: What about a Marvel games piece?

Seconded. Never even knew that and arcade game of Spiderman existed. You learn something new every day! I'd never heard of it before either. I got lucky and discovered it when reading an overview of Spidey games back when the first Playstation game was about to come out. It'd be a great game to be ...

Not a bad idea at all!!
