Re: Official Feedback Issue 91

Besides... Am I the only one who heard Darran say in the Youtube film about RG 91: "I really like that controller because it has the shape of a penis!"

Well well... :D

Re: Official Feedback Issue 91

Why are we getting so personal here? Let's face it; RG is the only magazine for retro gamers. Let's treasure it.
And it can be refreshing reading different views on a game you might like... but others don't and vice versa. Stop behaving like spoiled kids 8) .

Let's just say though that we don't put things like the C64 on the cover to get extra sales... We do it because we can.

C64 rubbish? You're funny.

On the condition that A) he'd want to write it and B) that anyone would be interested in reading it. We're talking about the C64 after all.
Darran, did the C64-issue sell so bad then??

Re: Issue 89 Feedback thread

Looking forward to the 8-bit RG next month. As has already been mentioned several times in this thread the 8-bit stuff has been pushed back until issue 92. There are two birthdays we'll celebrating in90 and 91 and then we've got some bumber 8-bit coverage, including (hopefully) a collector's guide ...

Re: Issue 89 Feedback thread

I really loved this issue, but as a C64-adept I was a bit dissapointed about the lenght of the C64-article. A bit short, really (why tose big big big pictures??). But hey, since you're the only magazine who bothers writing about it at all, I won't shout out too loud (is that correct English?). The l...

Re: MMC64 cart for Commodore 64

Cheers for the advice on 1541 Ultimate... I think I'll go for that one. All I want is being able to play roms directly on my C64; so I can save on space...

MMC64 cart for Commodore 64

Hi there Is there anyone out here that can tell me where I can buy an MMC64-cart for my Commodore 64? The MMC64 cart is a device with SD-card reader that can be plugged in the cart-port of the Commodore 64; and allows you to play rom-files on a C64 straight from an SD-card... Cool, but I can't find ...

Re: Gears of War

I really enjoy on-line co-op GOW 1. Just played it again with a mate tonight, and we had lot's of fun. Multiplayer as well, I think it's cool. Nowadays GOW 2ndhand goes €5... And there's free extra maps available on XBLA. GOW 2 GOTY-edition (complete) only goes around € 20, for an NTSC version, whic...

I think the Gears of War-games have a nice retro-feel... So I was wondering; anyone of you out there playing them games as wel... What do you think is the best one? Gears of War or Gears of War II?

I love the on-line GOW1 the best...
