Re: Any overhead view train game?
Thomas the Tank Engine on the Mega Drive would be a good way to go.

Re: Cartoon conversions
The TMNT games have come up a lot but that's because most of them are side-scrolling beat-em-ups which appeal to the arcade fans. TMNT IV on the SNES has a ton of references to the films/cartoons with appearances from Slash, the Rat King, Tokka and Razor and the fly version of Baxter Stockman. There...

Re: Super Monaco GP feature?
For me, this game is the killer app on the Game Gear. Been playing since I was 11 and still keep going back.

Original Gameboy Collector's Guide
Has RG ever done a collector's guide for the original GB? I've found them for NES, SNES and N64 but not the GB. I enjoy reading the articles included in the hardware handbooks but it would be nice to see something a bit more in-depth with a list of games, popular imports and accessories as well as a...

Re: Which book(s) are you currently reading?
The last book I read was Doctor Sleep. It's a sequel to The Shining that was written by Stephen King 36 years after the original book was published. The story follows Danny as a grown adult. He's a recovering alcoholic (just like his old man) who works at a hospice and uses his Shining ability to pr...

Re: Top 25 Saturn Games
In hindsight, a top 25 list seems a bit too ambitious since I've only played about 30 Saturn games so I've condensed my list down to a top 10: 1) Sega Rally Championship 2) Virtua Cop 2 3) Nights into Dreams 4) Marvel vs Street-Fighter 5) Sonic R 6) Shinobi X 7) Daytona USA 8) Tempest 2000 9) Alien ...

Re: Windows XP support ends in April
I'm still using XP and my plan is to continue doing so while gradually branching out to Linux. I was recently given an empty PC tin as a hand-me-down and if I successfully manage to build a PC from scratch it will most likely have a Linux OS.

Re: Do any of you still watch Retro Cartoons?
My favourite retro cartoon is The Real Ghostbusters. I paid £110 for the complete DVD box set and it's great to be able to watch the episodes I remember from childhood that didn't make it onto the budget DVDs on the High Street as well as the ones I didn't see when I was a kid. The only drawback is ...

Re: Introduce yourself
I subscribe to RG and have been reading the magazine since #98; the Game Gear collector's guide was what finally sold it to me and since then RG has been an indispensible resource to me; especially the C64/Spectrum book, the Atari book, the Mega Drive/SNES book and the Hardware book. I've been a mem...
