Re: From the forum issue 114 Platformers

I couldn't remember the game's title, just the bouncing car, after searching I found the info on KLOV, it's named under the genre 'platform game'. KLOV are pretty much always spot on. (or it's their opinion, you decide)

Re: From the forum issue 114 Platformers

How could I forget the classic C64 exclusive 'The castles of Dr Creep' (Broderbund), platform fun at its best with two players.
Also, Goonies on A8 or C64, excellent platform puzzle

The term 'platform and ladders' game was coined in the early 80s by Electronic Games magazine for the game Space Panic (1980). Chris Crawford states tha...

Re: Feature Request - Music Games

I got this game on IBM, Rockbuster Quest for fame, complete with plectrum to use on some tennis gear. I recently mentioned here that Star Wars was first a handheld game by Kenner, long before the Atari coin-up and VCS cartridge games. Now I've read a of the first home console Star Wars game: http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/194243-rca-studio-ii-game-manuals/ Star Wars in cart form originated on ...

Re: Retro Gamer Issue 112 - Feedback Thread

Love the homebrew section, looking forward to it every month. I am not a homebrew game buyer, but reading about it is great.
