Re: Your own gaming evolution
Good thread! Okay so this is how I went through my games machines. I don't know exact dates though. Spectrum 48k (rubber) Spectrum +2b Commodore Amiga 500+ Sony PlayStation PC Sony PlayStation2 Microsoft Xbox Microsoft Xbox 360 Nintendo DS Lite Nintendo Wii And, I don't know if it counts but three A...

Re: Can we have less Nintendo love for a while
I think it's safe to say that we've all got our own particular retro likes and hates. I flick past any articles about Zelda and (dare I say it) Mario because they have no retro interest to me. Nintendo does seem to have cornered the market on retro favourites though. Goldeneye, Donkey Kong, etc. The...

Re: Humor games
There have been some great games that have made me absolutely laugh out loud over the years. I still think the intro to Superfrog is a great cartoon to this day and would watch it again now. I don't know if they made any more cartoons for the game though as I was actually pretty crap at the game. I ...

Re: Batman games
I know it's not exactly retro but my favourite Batman game has to be Arkham Asylum.
Failing that though, it would be Batman - the Movie on the Spectrum

Re: Issue 90 feedback thread
Yeah I was kind of hoping the article would be more about the TV show than the game as well. As big a fan as I was of the TV show (I even applied to go on it when I was younger), I felt the game was less interesting. Or even a retrospective of the whole franchise, even the gaming books that came out...

Re: Introduce yourself
Hi again everyone. I used to come here til a while ago. Apparently my last visit was in 2007!
Anyway, I thought I'd pop back in and see how everyone's doing again, and see if I can contribute again, even if my visits are a little sporadic.

I call it the PS1 purely because if you mention a Playstation you usually get the "which one?" question afterwards. PS1, PS2, PS3. It's like talking about Star Wars. Which one? The first one - oh ok, episode IV. A Sony Playstation can refer to any of the three consoles now, Star Wars can refer to an...

That wasn't consistency, that was just the luck of being in one of the only decent NA cars whilst the still new turbos were grenading every 2nd race. Not to say he didn't do well but he got very lucky. The 2nd place driver in the championship finished just 9 races out of 16. The next highest turbo ...

Autosport's website has found out that even if they did disqualify the Williams and BMWs, it would take another battle apparently to justify moving all the remaining drivers upwards. In other words, the results of the Brazilian Grand Prix could just look like this... 1) Raikkonen (10pts) 2) Massa (8...

I once bought a "buy it now" on Ebay for a disc full of 15,000 Spectrum games and a Spectrum emulator, along with another sale of C64 games. Both were pulled by Ebay but because I did it as "buy it now", I still got the goods (woohoo!) To this day, the best ever thing I bought from Ebay. I still don...

Kimi did win the more races but was less consistent. Oh and I do think Kimi Raikkonen deserves to win a World Championship, but I didn't think that his 2007 was that special (the early part of the season was abysmal). I refer to the 1982 championship where Keke Rosberg won the championship with just...

To add to the fire... http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/63547 Bearing in mind they were ahead of Hamilton so IF they lose their positions, Hamilton will get another three points, enough to take the championship. I just heard about this a few minutes ago. Would they dare to change the resu...
