Risen 2 (360), £1.99 from GAME. Fight Night Champion (PS3, £1.99) and BlazBlue Calamity Trigger (360, £1.60), both from Cash Converters. And the uncut Arrow DVD of the original Dawn Of The Dead for £1.99 from That's Entertainment cos my mate nicked my other copy.

Re: The most disappointed you've ever been in a release
I really don't think DNF is that bad, and for the one to two quid or less you can get it for nowadays, it has its moments. Bit frustrating in parts and a pity it doesn't play like the original but there's still lots of fun stuff to see and do and it's got a nice 'chunky' feel to it. And ALSO for the...

Re: whats your jobbie?
I think it's coming back for a second round, got crazy borborygmus going on right now and I'm scared to fart in case I get an unexpected delivery. I expect the next one to have a slightly paler complexion than this early aft's. Saturday night is takie and Polish lager night so I'm assuming I'll be b...

Re: whats your jobbie?
Right. Kicked off as a Solid Snake, then transmogrified into five or six foamy squigglers. Filled the bog. Two bottles of red last night gave it a greeny-black hue, and two bags of Marmite peanuts gave it its density. Seven thorough wipes left my bumpipe all Kim and Aggie. Feel light-headed now.

Re: Is the forum in decline?
All this stuff is just fascinating fodder for me! Tell me more! I love tales of eccentric folk and this Krusty guy sounds fascinating! When you first mentioned EastCoastEric I was thinking it was some American dude and Van sprang to mind but Van was always very sane if I remember rightly so I'm glad...

Re: Is the forum in decline?
Sounds like I've missed some crazy bickering. Have there been any weird cases where it's transferred over into real-life physical shenanigans...fistfights, brawls, melees etc.?
I like hearing crazy forum stories.

Re: The most disappointed you've ever been in a release
When you can get a game as swish, playable and good-looking as Max Payne 3 down at GAME for 99p, as I did about 4/5 weeks back, you start realising reality. Rockstar did a fcking good job and made a super-sexy game (with weird directions, I'll admit). Max Payne 3 is pretty damn badass. Remedy made a...

I'm not even bothered if the forum is in decline or not...I am more into a Columbo mode...a constant search for truth and a solution to all mysteries. Sod getting along, give me my answers...

Re: harry enfield and chums
The Sky show was pretty poor, but I used to enjoy the Toby Carmichael character quite a lot (all that 'yah yah yaaah' stuff): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Zsm63Wr_Qs Pity he looks like one of the Old Gits now. Speaking of The Old Gits, I used to really like Paul Whitehouse's sitcom Help ...but u...

Re: Modern gaming is better than retro gaming.
I think, without a doubt, and as much as I want to lie to myself, modern games are 'The Nuts'. No way would I EVER want to play The Lords Of Midnight over Fallout 3, or Turbo Esprit over Grand Theft Auto V. Even 'bad' games these days...usually aren't that bad. I remember a game called 'Damnation' g...
