Re: Best/worst franchise deviations
For a quid or two, I'd give it a punt and it'd make my Wii collection even more interesting (got a great selection of Wii stuff now). It was always said to be a terrible game and I've passed it up a few times in the past but hindsight seems to be mellowing its reputation a tad. That Death By Degrees...

Re: Is the forum in decline?
Search feature is really, really naff. And, sadly, I've been posting about my bowel movements, too.
In fact....nah, I shall resist the temptation hehe!

Re: Best/worst franchise deviations
I'm glad i'm hearing good stuff about Death By Degrees. I've had it sitting about for ages but all I hear is bad about it, yet I can't believe it's gonna be less than decent, being Namco, being Tekken, and the PAL had a 60hz mode iirc? Surely there must be a thread about games that got severely pann...

Re: Is the forum in decline?
I just read the entirety of "Tea or Coffee". I'm gonna save the other thread for when I get back home from work. Mentalist. I quite like active, crazy trolls though. They keep stuff pumpin'. But, yeah. Yeah. You say he talks in a clown voice in real life??? I'd like to believe something like that, h...

dfsfvr is still going 'strong'. I've never seen the word 'sexdigitated' before. I think this may be the genesis of a TRUE sequel to 'Naked Lunch' and I am getting wet.

Re: whats your jobbie?
Chicken masala last night with 8 cans of Zubr made me predict a beige Galapagos affair in the toilet bowl this morn, and call me poop Nostradamus but I was right! The curry wasn't that hot so the arseburn I got was NOT predicted, like plapping out heated broken glass it was. I feel so scraggy postin...

Re: Game and Watch is back... in Lidl of all places.
I saw them today. Looked a little small and a little cheap...like VMUs crossed with a Tamagotchi clone. Hmmmm. Iceland is BANG next door to my Lidl. 4 pint cans of Carlsberg Export got my £4 in the end. Might've been a mistake, I don't know.

I noticed that, too. Maybe it's the meaning of life and we're meant to decode it? Maybe it's an AI finally developing enough confidence to join a forum?
Very, very strange spam.

Re: Best/worst franchise deviations
Final Fight Streetwise was actually a very fun game. In no way did it feel like Final Fight, but it's *another* one of those times when people dis a game over-mercilessly for the sake of being snarky online. I'd recommend anyone to give that game a try. I enjoyed it. It played pretty well and kept ...

Re: Best/worst franchise deviations
Ah, 'WWE Crush Hour'. I always wondered what that was like as a vet of the Twisted Metal/Rogue Trip/Vigilante 8 games. I'm betting it wasn't half bad. Did you get on with it? With me, I tend to see the positives in many so-called 'bad' games. A lot of games have merits. Christ, I enjoyed and complet...

On the Zubr tonight. 4 cans for £4 down my favourite Polish offy so got 8. 6% and lovely, tasty. People always think Tyskie's awesome but Zubr kicks its arse.
Sad but I get alkie rates on it as I'm a regular shopper there. Other whiteys pay £1.20 a can for it, lol.

Re: The most disappointed you've ever been in a release
For a quid, you can't go wrong. In all honesty I found Colonial Marines a lot of fun and to see it at 99p in GAME is pretty freaking sweet (and I like the shiny cover, too!). Now is the time to mop up all those FPSes with single player campaigns you were always curious about. A disappointing game at...
