Re: Coronavirus

Yeah it was Wales, they sort of run seperate much like Scotland does, England just has reduced availibility so when its Gone it may be Gone a while as deliveries are swapped for more essential stuff, clothing stores may however still be shut so could be supermarket clothing only. Those thatcan pleas...

Re: Modding Tabletop Pinball tables?

If you found a 3/4 it might work but even the Tomys aren't really deep enough as they are primarily mechanical. You say cheap throw away, have a look at some of them on ebay as I type, you'll be hard pressed to find anything sub £35 thats working and the astro Blaster family of Tomy units doesn't se...

Modding Tabletop Pinball tables?

I got one of these just before Xmas for my Menagerie of mini things as being both space and money poor means owning an actually fully fledged working one isn't going to happen any time soon. I have been doing the usual searching to see what I can do, the Tomy Units naturally have a bit of a followin...

Re: Coronavirus

Intresting past time, theres a few things that can lay dormant as I keep getting handed declaration forms when ever somethings looked at, only one that might get me is Absbestosis from working on old stuff as I never used to bother with much PPE.

Re: Have you kept in contact with any of your school friends ?

Fecking 'ell this ones been dead a while before it was raised, 1 has kinda stuck round but most including the close ones haven't spoke to me in years, even with FB the ones on there aren't the closest ones, mostly hang out occasionally or knew at school kind. It's pretty sad but it's a part of life ...

Re: Coronavirus

I've got personal reasons not to clap or cheer for the local lot at least, the whole defund things been going on years over all sorts. New Years the channels did the best with what they've got, sure some of it was bit odd but it was at least someting rather than just showing a straight rerun (which ...

Re: Coronavirus

Denial is a known defense mechanisim for grief, obviously you can't just stand there and declare someone is having a mental health episode without someone trained which you won't get right now but worst come to worst you can send them on Garden leave to protect others as much as themselves. A Car fr...

Re: Coronavirus

Corona can be completely asymptomatic for some people, it'll be present in your body but it won't attack you, think of it like eggs in an Incubator and thats why I got so p1ssed off with my Mothers boss as it could have caused it to be spread to my elderly neighbours who are far more vunerable to it.

Re: Metal Detectors.

Used to watch old Boys doing it on the Coast as a kid, finding anything big in the UK now is unlikely but you have plenty of chances of smaller artifacts about, another popular one is mudlarking but that one you pretty much always need a permit for, never really done either myself though despite aro...

LE Mans 1966 fantastic film.
This is definately on my to watch list, loved the story of this and it's such a shame with what they did to Ken and what happened to him as he was supposed to be stupid fast and they capped him as he wasn't their Star driver.

I wish I could find the remote for my Blackhawk, miss flying it around the house as it was almost like real life Toy Commander.

Out in the sticks sometimes they rarely see another soul so probably, they assume it to be a hoax as they won't see it locally.

Re: Macbook Pro running Linux

As far as I'm aware no, but I might be wrong, definately can the other way round but obviously can't fully utilise the hardware doing that.
