Re: Anywhere other than EBay to get good condition Nintendo DS lite

Not done a DS but Nintendo portables are pretty much easy to reshell, DS's I know are really prone to going brittle with age so maybe just getting a rough looking one and reshelling it yourself might not be a bad idea. Had a quick glance and theres various shells at Circa £12 and most come with the ...

Re: Any good retro-themed coasters to recommend?

Piles of NES cart ones about, when Game opens again it's worth a look in their merch bins as stuff like this does pop up, just be wary of anything made by Paledone as they quality is legendarily p1ss poor (and I do speak from experiance)

Re: Name a good tablet for reading comic book scans

I've got an Old Ipad 2 but I'd say avoid anything Fruit based, they don't like long term support and I've still yet to fettle with getting Youtube working again on it, definately leave the cheapo Chinese ones alone too, half of them think they are phones and they run as well as one might expect. Tha...

Re: Have you kept in contact with any of your school friends ?

I saw one maybe a bout a year ago now, his Mum, Dad and younger Brother spoke at length to me but he didn't say a word and another often pops in to see his parents 3 doors down but hasn't spoken to me in atleast 10 years and these 2 were what I considered my best friends at that age so maybe sometim...

Re: What are you currently playing?

Prin That looks like it might be the right one although the board seems a little different so I'd have to find the vid again for it to make 100% sure. The problem with Wood is even in something like pine it'll be heavy which isn't a problem if it's staying in one place but if you want to display it ...

Re: What are you currently playing?

That version is the wrong size version, it makes the screen skinnier as its shared with the GBC (if you search it on Youtube you'll see what I mean), there is a IPS option thats closer to the correct size but its having the funds to do it, the main issue the NGPC has always had in relation to moddin...

Re: What are you currently playing?

Got out the NGPC for Metal Slug 1st Mission and 2nd Mission (confusing naming as each stage is called Mission aswell) - I'm naturally awful at it and my old eyes don't help so I see a screen update in the future providing I can find one the correct size. Also the GBA came out, got NFS Underground an...

Re: New eBay payment rules.

Mines running normally still although I have had the email to set up my bank acount being directly linked, it seems to just be randomly implemented and has been affecting buyers too where it requests extra items before allowing them to bid, it's pretty much just bitter pettyness from the dissolution...

Re: Today

Today I noticed several food items I'd planned to ration out had gone out of date so pretty much ended up eating enough to feed a small family, it has however seemed to back the drug side effects off so some silver lining I guess. I had to give in and get an appointment to sort out an abcess I've de...

Re: What are you currently playing?

Colin McRae Rally 2.0 - didn't realise how rusty I was and the patch to fix it acctually seems to have made it look worse but it seems to work so I'll fettle with it later. More Fallout 4 - Mostly Settlement building as they dont stop crying, I'm trying to also see how long I can put off doing the s...

Re: Today

Tbh theres not a lot, Cryptocurrency is a minefield and stocks and shares can go very badly wrong if you dont know what you're doing, most valuble shares are pretty much topped out. Intrest rates suck as the world economy sucks, even China that had pretty much taken the top spot has got issues, prec...
