As for the CF DVDs it annoys me simply because I never got to read that title. I've managed to find his super play scans but not CF.

Irritating as hell that I can't even get them at no profit to anyone.

Whose face would you like?
I can't see how a face transplant is a breakthrough. I saw a Dr Lechter do it a decade ago...

Re:

I'm pretty sure I'm right in saying that these come with a 110v psu because their from America. I was looking for one a while back and found a company in the states selling them in this state (kit form). Yes, you can build an entire micro mostly from scratch but it's the step down convertor that's ...

Re:

I suppose a supplement of something like Amiga Format, with all the old gang, is completely out if the question, what with the ever backwards thinking Future Publishing. :( I used to like many Future mags, but they have got very dry, serious and boring. There was talk of someone producing an 'Amiga...

Re:

That's right ... I wrote a bunch down and THAT definitely didn't work out well. :) The problem you have is that America Free Retro gives the same impression as "Fat Free Crisps", i.e - Retro without america. Which is silly because without America we wouldn't have EA Sports. Wait a sec, there's some...

Re: Price Guide

I love the price guide in the new look mag. Helps you keep abreast of the market movements. Couple of things that may or may not be possible. Will it be the same machines covered every month? Would be nice for some other machines to get a mention. A few months back a boxed Sinclair QL was going for...

Surely by "4" you mean "22".

Re:

I thought the barcode was a representation of the numbers below it which could be read by machine. Therefore as long as the machine can read the code and that the number is on the system, the system should know what is going on. Yes I am a dullard for asking this! Most barcode scanners are basicall...

Re:

should one also write 'Retro* Gamer' then? Nah, just call it New Retro Gamer, or NRG for short :D And indeed XS NRG has already been the name of a magazine although I doubt even anyone here is sad enough to remember who by. The cover of the mag looks like one mag i got a while ago called 'A...

Re: subscriptions

I'd like to subscribe, but the subscription price seems very high; £36 for six issues delivered to Dublin, Ireland, compared to £21 if I lived in Belfast, 100 miles up the road. Does postage really double the price of the magazine? I can't commente on specific costings, but the Royal mail really ...
