Re: Max Payne

Does anyone remember the level in the first one where Max is dreaming/on drugs and has to walk the red line, only to hear the screaming of his dying wife?

That was horrendous

Re: Max Payne

I had this and absolutley loved it, people can't say the bullet time was a gimmick as it was one of the first to have it? Never played number 2 though, will get into that at some point. Fond, fond memories of this song from a time in my life where responsibilty was low and enjoyment was high.

Re: Deus EX Human Revoltion

Took me just over a week to finish it. It was an enjoyable ride, might trade it in now for something else. What I don't know.

Shame it did England a favour, but what can you do?

I'm shocked, and confused. What have we done to deserve Wales winning a competitive match against a decent opponent?

Re: Deus EX Human Revoltion

Well i've got to say i'm loving this game, as for people saying they couldn't get past the first boss.....shocking. Took 3 attempts, emp him, then 2 grenades and shotgun to face.

Re: Best emulators

Zsnes is more stable though, and more user friendly.....hence why I use it, unless there is an issue and i'll use Snes9x. As for the sound, it doesn't really make much difference to me, especially through the laptop speakers.

Re: Best emulators

Zsnes is clearly the better Snes emu, followed closely by Snes9x. Project64 for Snes, and NullDC for Dreamcast. NO$GBA for a bit of Gameboy and Gens for the Megadrive. Haven't tried Dolphin for GC yet and Saturn emulation made me lose the plot in frustration. As long as you have a 2gig + CPU P64 wil...

Re: BATTLEFIELD 3 help needed...URGENT!!

In all fairness if you're willing to spend some money you could buy a budget graphics card for about £50 which will run the game, although I shall be getting BF3 for my PS3, since I play a hefty amount of BFBC2 on it currently.

Re: If you hadn't gotten rid.

I had stacks of N64 magazine which went out, including rather shamefully selling all my PS1 games to give money to somebody that I owed. You live and learn though, thank God for emulation.

If you like an obscure RPG try Koudelka, I crease myself laughing at it every time I play it.

Re: Reliability

Every console and PC i've ever owned has had serious use, and the only fault i've had is my PS3 bluetooth losing sync so had to get a new one under warranty. It's inevitable that the more complex our consoles get the more they will break, after all we're not dealing with a board and a couple of seri...

TF2 was an absolute dream a few years back, 2008 style. Still a cracker mind you, I'm looking forward to playing it with a new PC when I get one.
