Hmm thanks for that guys.

I have heard the Swap Magic can break the PS2 so not too sure over a longer time.

How much do you reckon it would cost to get it chipped instead?

Has anyone used the Memor 32 usb mod chip for the PS2?

Apologies if this is in the wrong section but not sure where to post this. Is the Memor 32 any good compared to trying to find someone to chip my PS2 or using those disc swapping tools to play import games? I dont really get how it works unless it is for backed up copies of games? http://www.modchip...

Maybe a photo diary akin to the Mean Machines mag one where they all beat up Gary Harrod?

Alternatively readers could just send them in and the best/funniest/worst could get published - particularly if they are like the Perry Bible Fellowship stuff...

The Gamestation in Leeds city centre has very little retro stuff now, not even the odd random console in the window :( I have picked up some good stuff from there over the years, last one was a MegaCD 1 for £10 and a stack of games for about the same amount (this was about 7 years ago though, I di...

I had an old tomytronic game called Shark Attack or something similar, a racr driving one that is featured in one of the recent pics in the "pictures of you" thread in off topic, these were the ones that you held up to your eyes like a pair of binoculars. I had (and may still have somewhere) the Sk...

I would be very happy with a complete collection of Jap MD games and I have always fancied one of those arcade cabinets with the Hologram fighting game in the globe screen (forget what it was called - rubbish game but quite novel at the time!)

I remember getting a copy of MK1 on the Megadrive on the day of release and playing it death (so to speak). Loved the second one too but lost interest soon after that as there were too many characters with ridiculous and unimaginatives moves. I do have a copy of Deadly Alliance for old times sake bu...

Agree with the Streets of Rage series. I also used to love Alien Storm on the MD, Target Renegade on the Spectrum 128 and FIST 2 - The Legend Continues (Way of the Exploding Fist 2 I think) on the C64. Incidentally I played Final Fight Streetwise on the PS2 the other day and thought it was not too b...
