Your Stress Sources: The situation is regarded as threatening or dangerous. Outraged by the thought that he will be unable to achieve his ...

I'm hooked on Lost - even though it moves at the pace of a snail and feels like it's being made up as they're going along it is still completely compelling. I also love the Adult Swim cartoons, criminally hidden away in the backwaters of the Bravo channel in the UK (but I download most of them anywa...

Mine tends to go:

13:30 Breakfast
7:30 Dinner
1:30 Fruit or a sammich or something.

I work nights so I have a funny schedule and usually only see the morning from the 'other side'.

My own favourite naff film has to be The Cannonball Run. Sammy Davis Jr and Dean Martin as two lecherous fake priests, Roger Moore as a wealthy playboy pretending to be Roger Moore playing James Bond, Jackie Chan in his souped up fully computerised Japanese Subaru - and of course, our hero, Captain ...

Well, my mum would be adamant that it's Simon the Sorceror 3D but as I've never been able to bring myself to play it (and potentially sully the memory of the previous 2 games) I can't really comment. Myself, I would have to say Count Duckula 2 on the Amstrad CPC. Never mind worst sequel, that appall...

Jesus was a coconut?!

I'm surprised the conspiracy theorists haven't jumped on that one yet.

Also, there are certain comments (MattC, RevGiblet) that indicate a sort of perverse pleasure in these sort of debates getting out of hand and 'kicking off' - this worries me.

Ah, good. Took a while but now it's all kicking off nicely :D

Think I'll just sit back and enjoy the fireworks.

BTW, Markopoloman, you have an odd method of not getting involved in a thread!

Re:

Hmm. Well the definition of palpably is 'easily perceived' and I don't think that there is 'one entity' that 'palpably' exists that we are trying to destroy, which I have interpreted as you meaning 'Gaia', though if I have completely misunderstood your meaning here I apologise! No apology necessary...

It seems to me rather shortsighted that while we worship and praise our mythical gods and 2000 year old prophets we simultaneously try to destroy the one entity which we cannot explain, yet palpably exists and without which life on this planet would come to an end. The brainwashing starts at an earl...

I predict that if something isn't done soon the spam will start to snowball to the point where every other post is spam and the forum becomes all but unusable. I've seen it before on a couple of other boards I used to visit, both of which are now dead. I hope the same thing doesn't happen here.
