Re: Virtual Pinball
Don't know if this is the right thread to post it, or if this one is dedicated to specific virtual pinball hardware, but one of my most played games on Switch is Pinball FX3. I've got about 20 tables - loads have been on sale recently. Just picked up the Bethesda pack for £4 yesterday. Anyone else p...

Re: Sega Fog gaming
I can't say I'm not a little disappointed, but I think this is another case of The Internet building far too much hype for something without any idea of what it is.

Re: What are you currently playing?
I'm currently playing a lot of Panel De Pon on the Switch SNES library. I watched a translation video of the menus and realised there was a lot more to it than first appeared. I'm just past halfway through the campaign and it's got tough as nails! Great game, though. I also grabbed Days Gone dirt ch...

Re: What game have you COMPLETED this week
I beat WWF Wrestlefest (arcade, emulated on Vita) yesterday. Both the Royal Rumble and tag team Main Event championship. I love this game, still the best wrestling game out there in my opinion with its huge, colourful sprites and fun gameplay, even if it is basically just a button basher. It's a cr...

Re: What game have you COMPLETED this week
Finished the story on Yakuza kiwami. So glad I decided to play through the story again on the way to 5&6 as I'd forgotten loads since the ps3 game. Il mop ip a few bits of side stuff, specifically anything new. Also, what a terrffic remake. Bring on kiwami 2. I've not long finished Kiwami 2 and can...

I remember seeing that game on TV and just being green with envy that I couldn't play it. Neo Geo, wasn't it?

Re: Conversion Capers feels lazy
Fair enough, although I disagree. The main part of the article would be a review of the film, with a few side boxes commenting on the quality of the audio or video on the higher resolution releases. I think it works quite well to be honest.

Re: Aladdin and Lion King being Remastered for Consoles
Oh - it's not the SNES Aladdin on there then? The reason I avoided it was because I thought it wasn't the Megadrive one. To be honest I was irritated they're charging so much for a couple of roms on a disc in the first place, when it was first announced I assumed they'd be HD remasters, but no...

Re: What are you currently playing?
MEGA DRIVE MONDAY Alex Kidd In The Enchanted Castle 8) :D Oof. I got the PS4 Megadrive collection some time ago and decided to try to go through every game at least once. That was a real low point, a genuinely terrible game with not a single redeeming feature! Funny because I remember loving Miracl...

Re: Craziness In the retro community
Hmm, yeah interesting. I dunno man, just seems like he's a bit of a sad bastard and probably best left ignored. Then on the other hand you have people saying he's gone out of his way to discredit other people so swings and roundabouts I guess. It's clear he had some sort of mental health issue or ev...

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?
Thanks to Disney +, catching up on a load of nostalgic films and shorts I haven't seen for probably 30 years, namely: Dumbo - quite spooky for some reason, and being old some of the cultural depictions are way off. Ha, yeah, classic Disney. We watched Pocahontas the other day. It was....problematic...

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?
Watched The Invisible Man the other night and enjoyed it, although it's not the deepest film I've ever seen. Also making my way through The Office (US) on Prime Video for the third time at the moment. Still the greatest sitcom ever made.
