I find I keep going back to Musha Aleste (M.U.S.H.A) for a quick blast, nice wee shooter from Compile with a sweet synth rock soundtrack. :)

Didnt Enduro Racer on the speccy have a cheat type thing were if you held down certain keys it made you zoom through all the levels without getting hit?....or did i just dream that? (damm skittles before bedtime! NO MORE! I TELLS YA!) :)

For me it’s got to be Howard the duck on the Amstrad and Airwolf for the Speccy. Think they are the only two games where I have never made it to the 3rd screen. Howard mainly because I would have fell asleep by the time your main sprite trudged his way through the screens, and Airwolf becaus...

I would like to nominate ‘Joe Blade 2’ on the speccy. Now if I remember correctly, didn’t you just jump over enemies heads, which would then fizzle/explode/disappear, then try and do overly complicated time/puzzle type things. I don’t know, I’m sure people loved it, and can remember all of...

'Angelina-Jolie-Showing-Off-Her-Boobs' wow I missed that one in the arcades, think the spectrum version would of rocked though  But yeah, Double Dragon on the Atari 2600 was a bit of a let down (in fairness I wasn’t expecting much) If took some horse tablets, not slept for a few days a...

Frostbite on the 2600 in the late 80s, me and my dad would spend hours trying to beat each others score (and he was surprisingly good at it!) Think this was the first game where I developed a love for twitch gameplay, as the later levels are so fast the wee Eskimo guy develops matrix style movement...

Just a few titles I found strange/mental in one way or another :) PuLiRuLa - Arcade I think the magic stuff kicked in around stage 3 for the Taito Developers. Blue haired screaming man/yellow flag woman/a suggestive sumo wrestler and the giant woman’s legs that you had to dodge (I think some of th...
