I was looking at a copy of beserk in gamestation so I'll pick that up. I plan on looking for a copy of shenmue this weekend on my trip to ayr (I've ALWAYS found bargains in that gamestation), as for shenmue 2 I thought about getting the x-box version. I've been pretty impressed with the machine and ...

As he guys on the gp32x forum would say; if it bothers you that much donate to the programmer or learn to code yourself. Playing mame is fine but the gp2x has proved with vectar that it can be home to more than just ports and emulators.

Thanks I'll be checking those out. I already have the gamecube versions of skies of arcadia, ikaruga, sonic adventure 1 and 2, resident evil code veronica and the ps2 version of grandia 2. Have been playing evolution for a bit and it seems quite kiddy-ish, even worse than grandia 1 (although under the...

New Sega Dreamcast Owner!!!

Just sold my copies of discworld 1 & 2 (psx versions) and used the money to buy a sega dreamcast with 2 official pads, 2 rumble packs, 1 vmu and 4 games. The games I got were (in order that I enjoy them) zombie revenge, soulfighter, evolution and metropolis street racer. Just wondering if you could ...

But one is famous for their lady boys and the other for their own take on manga and the mmporpg. That and the food from both places is way different :P

Actually Games Park is Korean  lol. As for that comment about Sony, it's completly small minded. They make good electrics, they've been responsible for good games and movies and not to mention music (the clash, johnny cash, manic street preachers, bob dylan). I mean that's like me refusing to ...

A little known PD game for the Amiga by the name of Arm Chair Assassain 2. It was a shoot-em up that you controled via the mouse. Characters were modeled after the spice girls, telly tubbies, ronald mcdonald, bill gates and more. Plus there was an editor so you could make your own! Then there was th...

Erm I have a gp2x, gp32 (which I'm still waiting for) and one of those handheld games that you had to hold up to your eyes like binoculars. It has a tank game and is not bad for a quick 30 min blast. Obviously I have alot more consoles but these are the only obscure ones I can think of.

Ebay baragains!

In the past week I've managed to strike it lucky on ebay twice. First of all (not exactly retro) I won the hard to find Grandia X-treme http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=004&item=140027339568&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1 for just over £18 including shipping, and a gp32 wit...

You always run that risk though when you buy from the first run of any console (ps1 and the crappy laser, sega master system 1 falling to pieces) but in a short time most of the GP2Xs problems were solved or had work arounds and the PSP is not without it's own problems. The analogue nub was awful to...

I disagree about what you said about Silent Hill. I've always enjoyed playing the games (only Project Zero beats them in my estimation) and because I'm a huge fan of Christopher Gans (director) I knew the film would be top-knotch I mean this is the guy that gave us Brotherhood Of The Wolf! It all de...
