Re: Activision ruins spyro forever.

Seriously eww, Skin-diseased Spyro. Even if they give it a backstory like "Spyro has to collect the 100 Restore Orbs to restore him back to his beautiful self" it still wouldn't change the fact it's a horrible character model. It's all wrong. Imo Spyro 2 was my favourite out of the trilogy and I don...

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LEGEND-ZELDA-LINK-PAST-COMPLETE-SNES-/130475962577?pt=UK_VintageComputing_RL&hash=item1e60f930d1 £77 for a boxed Legend of Zelda?! Seriously? What? They seem to be going like wild fire at the moment, which is odd 'cause I bought mine two weeks back for £26ish all complete, even...

Re: Question about a JAP N64 console...

I'm guessing Starfox 64 is the same as Lylat Wars because if so I wasn't a fan of that game, just didn't have the charm as the first. If I would to suggest a game, it'll have to be Sin and Punishment (I've ALWAYS wanted to play it on a N64 and not someone else's Wii)

Re: What type of TV do you play your retro on?

28' Flatscreen at university which shows near decent picture quality. Although I'm always one for a bit of fuzz, gives it that whole retro experience. And back at home I have about the same sized CRT tv that I picked up at a Car Boot about a year ago.

Re: What era do you consider as "yours"?

16-32bit, around there, 'cause it was the time where I first time I started video games. If it wasn't for that second hand Sega Mega Drive I'll prolly be into sport and listening to rave music. Close save.

Re: Which is your favourite Nintendo controller?

N64 Pad - Horrible, absolutely horrible. Designed for someone with 3 hands or something, rubbish quality on the analogue sticks too. GameCube - Still pretty rubbish for twin stick control, but a nicely built pad all over. Thank you. I thought I was alone on this. It's hideous to look at, and hold. ...

N64. Just slips into your hands, the many ways of playing it and how it's so comfy to hold.

Re: Emulation on DS

I have a DSTWO with a genesis/MD emulator on there that works just fine. The screen's a bit squashed by a tad other than that it's just grand to play Contra Hard Corps while on the train. =) I can't remember the name fully but it's something genesis. It might be that jenesisDS to be honest. You need...

Re: Official feedback for issue 86

Read it all in one train sitting when I was travelling back home. Amazing lil reads there, thought the Streets of Rage, the whole thing about Mikro-Gen and the feature on the isometric games just awesome to read. Good issue! The making of Druid was good too, actually helped me with how to word my do...

Re: What game have you COMPLETED this week

R-Type III for my S'NES. Damn hard, damn fine SHMUP. I was toying with myself after if I should complete the harder mode afterwards but I was too scared of nerd rage.
