Re: Thank god we only have badgers in the UK

That sounds amazing actually, might try to factor that in... is there a minimum age on something like that? My son would love it, but my eldest daughter (8) would probably freak out...

Re: Sea Of Thieves

Yep, latest video from Rare confirms the game is a waste of time for anybody who wants to play alone. A real disappointment for me and I believe Rare are settihg themselves up for failure with this exclusively "social" approach to the game. I'm in exactly the same boat... this was one of very few g...

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

Watched a series on Netflix called The OA which was pretty entertaining. If a little hard to get past a bit of interpretive dance. :o Watched Westworld over Christmas, and some obvious plot holes aside I really loved it. Tried watching Black Sails from series 1, but it just wasn't very good....

Re: Is there a market for PC game boxes?

Some people love the big box PC/Amiga/ST games. They can be a real joy to collect. I particularly like the slightly smaller boxes that were common in the late 80s. I've got a couple of big bags of Amiga boxes. Sadly only the boxes, but I keep meaning to do similar with those, see if there's a deman...

Re: secret santa 2016 (mods please sticky)

Thank you to my Secret Santa (though I know who you are :D ). Got an awesome Thing On A Spring mug, I've actually been listening to a load of film/tv/game scores recently, so the John Williams soundtrack CD is perfect, and I'll be reading the book very soon because it sounds right up my street! Than...

Re: The Annual Christmas Film Thread!

Watched Bad Santa again last night.
Don't want to ruin it by watching the new sequel. Not looked into reviews or anything though, either.

Re: The anti-what grinds your gears thread.

Winter sun! Just had 11 nights in Gran Canaria, I feel so much better for it, it's like someone flipped my happy switch. I did that (though only 7 nights) last year. Wasn't quite peaceful, being just myself and my 5 and 7 year old kids, but it was still so good. I wish I'd gone away this year at th...

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

About half way through watching Westworld at the moment. I'm really enjoying it but know a lot of people who switched off after a couple. Some of the scenery is making me want RDR2 asap too :D

This is news... I like the look of this. I'll hold on to the cautious optimism as well though.

Re: The Annual Christmas Film Thread!

Every year I tell myself I'll "be more festive next year" in the lead up to Christmas. Every year I fail. Still not watched any Christmas films. MInd you, I'm not sure what will really get me in the mood these days. However, if you ever wondered what was on BBC or ITV on Christmas Day in 1988* then ...
