Re: Good retro games T-shirt shops

Does anyone know what happened to the guys that ran www.weekend-gamer.co.uk?
Looks like the site is down but I don't know for how long.

They had some great T-shirts.

Hi

Anyone have any sites that sell retro T-shirts?

Thanks

Re: Recommend me some PC Games from the 90's

I would suggest Might and Magic 3, 4+5 (4 and 5 together made the World of Xeen) I personally always prefered Diablo to Diablo 2 I second the suggestion of Crusader: No regret and No Remorse although I have had trouble getting them to run on my DOS/W98 machine with the original CD's Heroes of Might ...

Xevious in Ridge Racer 7

Just a quick heads up. In RR7 (on the PS3), you can play a fairly accurate port of Xevious.

Give away

Hi all I have a few items I'm looking to give away. I'm not looking for anything in return but all I ask is payment for postage. Hostile Waters (PC) - good condition with the manual IO (C64) - Good Condition, worked last time I loaded it up Space Siege (PC-Sealed) Commodore +4 computer (one of the c...

PC Engine confusion

Ok maybe it's me but I'm a bit confused about the different models of the PC Engine. I thought there was a PAL version of the console but I can't find any info about it. All I've found is a statement saing that it was imported from either Japan or the US. I had alwas been under the impression that t...

Re: NEO GEO AES vs NEO GEO CD

Ok, I've done it. 1 JP Neo Geo CD (top loader) will be arriving soon. I've checked on Ebay now for a step down converter but there are loads of them. The most common one is a 45 Watt UK to US adaptor. Is this ok or do I need to get one with a larger wattage (if thats even a word) or a specific JP on...

Re: NEO GEO AES vs NEO GEO CD

Just one more question. Will the AES arcade stick work on the Neo Geo CD? I've been doing some reading but can't find a proper yes or no answer.
Cheers

Re: NEO GEO AES vs NEO GEO CD

I have read everyones views and I have decided to get the Neo Geo CD. The main reason is cost and secondly I'm not a beat em up fan (except for Barbarian). If you're not a fan of fighting games there's little point going for any kind of Neo Geo system as I'd estimate at least 60% of the system's li...

Re: What game have you COMPLETED this week

Finished Half Life Source. I played and finished the original years ago but I wanted to play it again to relive the memories. Can't say i really noticed much difference in the experience and the graphics so I guess I should have saved my money for something else and jusy played the original. Still, ...

Re: NEO GEO AES vs NEO GEO CD

So Mantas after confusing the hell out of you :? Have you made any decision on which system to go for ? All have good and bad points but cheap and Neo-Geo don't hold hands often if at all (subjective I guess.) CD / CDZ - limited title choice & load times are a killer, PAL available on the CD model ...

NEO GEO AES vs NEO GEO CD

Hi all. I'm am busy saving up for a Neo geo console and I was just wondering what the forumites opinion is of these 2 machines. The CD version appears to be cheaper and it also looks like you can play downloaded games on it but I hear the load times are horrendous. Plus the joypad looks a bit rubbis...

Re: Desparate help on the Amiga

Firstly, thanks to everyone, especially Woody.Cool, who have taken the time to help me out. I am pleased to let you know that the easiest and best way to transfer files to the Amiga was done by using WINUAE. I just want to add 2 little things that helped...... A) You must tick the box that says READ...
