Amiga disk question

Forgive my ignorance but if I use a normal PC 3.5" disk and format it on the Amiga, can I then use it to make backups of my original Amiga games? Thanks

I've just flipped through it for now but it looks great. However, I do find the double page spread for a single game rather annoying. Nothing wrong with the content or the length of the text, but the huge pixalated screenshot is really just poor. It doesn't do the game any justice. Can't it have let...

Hopeless day today but I did manage to get an empty N64 box (the guy who bought the console didn't want the box) for nothing. Later in the day I found a tak place (where people dump their unwanted goods) and found Dune 2 for the PC complate with manual, reg card etc all in excellent condition also f...

Dream come true

My dream has come true. Please don't see this as showing off but I am dead excited about this and I thought I'd share it with my fellow gamers. As of mid July 2006, I will be working for Sega Europe. Hooray!!!!!!!! Extra bonus points given for getting a job providing support as well as playing with ...

I always used the Quickshot 1 joysticks on my C64 and thought they were ok. My friend had a Cheetah joystick for his Speccy which I didn't like. Then one day I got a Quickshot 2 Pro (the red one with the microswitches) which I always thought was the best there was - although the clicking could get r...

I finished playing Fahrenheit on PC this week and I truely felt like it was a very well disguised adventure game. A bit short but a great story and some interesting scenes. I'd imagine you could find it quite cheap now. Highly recommended.

When I discovered a few years ago that I could collect the old systems, I was in heaven. I could actually own machines that I'd only read about as a kid. So I started buying pretty much anything I could find. I had grand plans to own the whole Commodore, Atari, Sega, Nintendo, Spectrum range along w...

Nothing special but did get a boxed Saturn memory card for £1.50. Someone was selling a boxed Saturn for £10 and a boxed N64 with 2 games for £15.

I'm enjoying this issue more than the last. I've been a big fan of Back to the 80's section and I like the new A-Z of the 80's. Yeah so its not about games but its part of the nostalgia we have about games and is inseparably linked to how we perceived the world while growing up at that time. The A-T...

Watching TV on the Sega Gamegear

With the world cup on our doorstep and the unfortunate start times of 3pm and 6pm, I was wondering if its worth getting the TV adaptor for the Gamegear. Does it work and does it actually pick up a good signal, especially on overground trains. Thanks

I've only ever found one at a boot sale and that was Donkey Kong, unboxed, for £1. Inside its in good nic and it has the battery cover and the serial number. Would like to find Snoopy tennis for the missus but I'm not prepared to pay online prices. Did see a Namco Pacland LCD on the weekend for 10p...

Emerson Arcadia. My uncle refused to buy me a Galaxy Invader 1000 for my birthday cause he said it didn't really do anything. I was so angry with him cause I had been wanting one for ages. Then he took me to an electronics shop, showed me the Arcadia and I was stunned. This was back in '81. Took it ...

Re:

"Revolution" was quite good. Shame they got rid of it... Hey???? They got rid of Revolution? What's it being called now? I agree that NES and SNES are horrible. My vote goes to Saturn (its my fav planet) and Dreamcast (such a cool word to say). I hope Sony start being more creative with their names...
