I haven't installed it for a while but these are the instructions I used. They might be a bit outdated but hopefully it will get you going in the right direction. How do I setup Visual Pinball and VPinMAME? Prerequisites: 1. Minimum PII-400/64MB RAM... Recommended: PIII-866/128MB RAM 1. Win95/98/Me/...

Yes its Beyond the Forbidden Forest. Good to know I'm not the only one. I've tried various roms and both D64 and .TAP files and its all the same. Pity its a dud though as I was really keen to try it out.

Embarrasing question about Forbidden Forest

This is a terrible thing to ask but how the hell do you play it? I run left and right, up, down, shoot arrows but I never see any monsters! This is the emulated version on PC. Am I being really thick or is the emulated version a dud? Thanks

Don't remember anything about a secret on the arcade version. Only thing you had to do was have 2 players on screen 100 so that you could save your mom and dad as well.

Thanks Antiriad, it works wonderfully. Not only can I repair my faulty tapes but I can enjoy the games on the original platform. The only hickup is that you need to find the .tap format for it to work. I have found a site that has a good amount but does anyone know where else I can have a look? Thanks

Transferring C64 games from PC to tape

I recently picked up Little Computer People but sadly its faulty. I was wondering if there is a way to transfer the image from a .tap file on PC to the tape? I think this was mentioned somewhere before but I can't find the link anywhere. Thanks

I've seen him before too and when I saw the price of Aztec Challenge I knew it was him again. He does get some sales but none at the ridiculous prices he has now. Still as the saying goes, don't like it, don't buy it.

The Loon is back

I can't believe the prices this guy charges for his stuff. At the same time, looking at his selling history, there are even bigger nutters out there who have paid £50+ for a C64 disc of Dragons Lair.

On PinMAME...

Theatre of Magic
Ceature from the Black Lagoon
Star Wars

I've played these games loads of times and have never gotten bored on them. I've also had the extreme pleasure of playing the real thing.

On PC or Amiga, Pinball Fantasies if recommended. Stones and Bones is my fav table.

Still, there's the next best thing, Ebay! I've really gone off eBay for retro buying.. I prefer the thrill of seeing the goods in the flesh under some old tat! All the stuff I want can be purchased off eBay - but I'd rather hunt it down at a car boot sale or charity shop. (Plus there are no p...
