Yes, Hitm4n, Kojak flew the bi-plane. But what film? I kinda figure I should've thought of something more well-known. If no-one knows I'll quote you something easier  2nd clue (and quote), 'Keep ya God-damn head down!'

Sorry, Anti, not right. Hmm..., maybe it is too obscure. Ok, clue. 'Lollipop-man', a 70's tv-show icon, flew the bi-plane.

Maybe its a tough call. Yours is, after all, a 'proper' song (or as proper as can be given the quality of our year) unlike my lame karaoke special!

Greatest Album - Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys. Yeah, yeah, I can hear you all groaning, the Beach Boys indeed. Oh ye of little (mumble mumble mumble). Rightly heralded by a whole swathe of the music industry as the Greatest Ever and the reason for many artists making their own music. Untouchab...

This thread-header is 'Greatest' song ever yet we are all talking about our personal 'Favourite'. There is a difference. Or am i just being pedantic! :) Anyhow, my 3 faves (and then my choice of Greatest)... 1) Still Too Young To Remember (full-length remix) - It Bites 2) Summer Song - Joe Satriani ...

For what it's worth, you are all wrong! :) 1) Monty Mole. He summersaults, he leaps, he's very, er, Moley! And the star of the best platformer of them all - MOTR. 2) KLP2 [Klepto] - Quazatron. The cutest robot ever? Dangerous, too, being able to use the best bits of everyone. 3) So many others. Li M...

Game Bosses has potential but not, I think, as much as characters; not all games have bosses. Characters seems the better choice as can include Bosses and a separate debate could then run alongise about Best Boss. Or could this get a little out-of-hand! As we seem to be having an (un-)official debat...

I think Mayhem should tell us a little more... When? Who stars? Hollywood or TV? Remake or Mini-series Continue? As long as they do not go overboard with CGI and bring in 'pretty boys and girls'.

I sure do remember 'V'. Wonderful show. Sure, the acting is somewhat wooden and the script ropey, but the basic story is excellent. I have to say, too, that I am not overly keen on CGI is such sublime effects detract from the acting program. Can't remember how many times I have watched both the 7 1/...

I got into the Speccy through a mate of mine who got one back in 1983. I didn't get one of my own until 1985. :( The first game I ever played was Manic Miner on my mate's system. On my own system it was the incomparable and quintessential platformer Monty On the Run.

Out Run

Back in 1988 I posted a score on the arcade monster that was Out Run. Finishing the whole race with 36 seconds still on the clock, my score was approximately 42.5million. And all for just 10p (ahh... those were the days!).

No: 18 Quazatron - Spectrum So difficult to chose just one game but this has to be it for me. Pushed the Spectrum to its limit. Fabulous piece of music on the menu screen. Sure, the scrolling is sluggish but this is more than compensated for by the wonderful gameplay. Sheer class. [Number edited - ...
