The day you posted the screenshot, I thought it could be Ultima IV on the SMS. It just did not look Japanese. As I had never played the game, I googled it but none of the backgrounds I saw came close to that strange hallway of yours. Now you're saying it is a famous series on the PC... Could it be U...

Too many 1200 point games lately. Though I can understand games like Braid or Castle Crashers raise the bar so much they logically cost more, I am certainly not willing to shell out the same amount of money for mere rehashes of games like R-Type or Death Tank - no matter how good they actually are. ...

I remember being impressed by the sound effects and flawless animation of the game. I should give it a try again some day.

Your turn, Pantal00ns!

Chickin Chase and Coq Inn (for that's the name of the game when it was released on French computer MO5) are one and the same game. The screenshot was clearly not taken from the 64 version - I only said I owned the game on my 64. Back in the day, when we French players were young and very naive, "Co...

Bonze Adventure it is ! Don't let the screen fool you, Bonze is a great platformer many here have probably played in the arcades or on the PC-Engine.

Tepid Snake, your turn ! :)

@Revgiblet : Le Manoir du Comte Frozarda was initially a CPC-only release. It was later adapted for the ST.

2600, Arcadia, Colecovision and Intellivision coverage would be really appreciated. Don't forget to throw in LCD handheld games for good measure!

No doubt such articles would infuse fresh blood into the magazine.

Galway, Hubbard and Follin stand above the rest. Though Follin is actually my favourite, I won't vote for him as he really took off during the Amiga / SNES period. Hubbard was the first musician who made me realise how great my 64 could sound; then came Galway and his softer compositions, which for ...

No seriously, this game is a gem. The retro feel of each sub-game is truly amazing. I played the Japanese version to death and could not get bored of it. Anybody barely interested in retrogaming should buy Retro Game Challenge asap. By the way, the sequel should be out by the end of the month , and ...
