Re: Anyone got a dead Game boy knocking about?

as mine fell off I've got to ask but what the hell did you do to your poor GB for the screen to "fall off" The one I had as a kid was well mistreated and had bounced down at least 1 flight of stairs in it's lifetime without so much as a dent. The origanal GB isn't known as a brick for nothing - it'...

Re: Name that game or console that you aspire to own

Amstrad CPC 6128 PLUS. Never seen any about. Whenever I look on ebay nothing. It's weird. I have no idea how much I should be paying either. Apart from that, I'd like one of these lol http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b116/c0nfu53d/gamecube_advance_front2.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b116/c...

Re: Die Hard movies

I love the Die Hard movies with the first being the best and the second the worst. The 5th movie is due in 2012 so one to look forward to http://uk.imdb.com/title/tt1606378/ LOL. I actually prefer the Lethal Weapon films. But only just. Yeah gotta agree. I have boxsets of both movies but the LW set ...

Re: Golden Sun: Dark Dawn

It's a beautiful looking game and it plays well too. The only thing that bugs me is the maps are useless. Some of the dungeons are quite complex and it would be better if the areas you haven't visited are greyed out or something so you at least have a vague idea of what you've missed. Saves wonderin...

Re: Retro Gamer Release Something 2011!

To be honest, I scanned the original post and didn't understand what it was asking. Am I supposed to code a game for the start of 2011? A short game or game demo, story or whatever you feel up to making yourself The first post says it can be anything retro game related. I wouldn't expect anyone to ...

Re: Retro Gamer Release Something 2011!

Seems a bit of a weird thing for a new user to just kick off. Have you even spoken to any of the forum admins about this? For all we know you could just be taking created content to post elsewhere  Get involved with the community a bit more. To be honest, I hadn't thought of that. A new user...

Re: Retro Gamer Release Something 2011!

Timescale wasn't too short, after all it was release something, anything. Long, short a 16x16 pixel graphic, 5 line poem whatever. A nice idea but not popular on these forums I guess. The deadline is nogotionable within reason. For example Feb 2011 is ok Feb 2020 not so much.

Re: Irem Compilation

A multi format release would be nice, but you know what? I 'm guessing that it's a money thing. It's easy an cheap to put out on the PC. Possibly had a release in Japan already so that makes it even easier. Developing for PSP/DS/PS2/360 etc can be costly. What with piracy it's sometimes not worth th...

1,Click the RG title at the top, takes you back to the main forum 3. Sales aren't technically allowed on the forum, so that won't happen. Yeah but the other link is sill broken. Why not fix it? What I mean is have a look at the off topics forum, just on page 1there are 4 "wanted" 2 "for sale" 1 "fe...

Some forum suggestions

Don't know it this is the right place for this but I have a some of suggestions for forum improvements. 1 Fix the "<< Return to the homepage" link at the top left of the forums. Currently it goes to http:///. Presumably it's supposed to point to http://www.retrogamer.net. 2 Can we get a spell check ...

Re: Games you enjoyed but thought you wouldn't

Resident Evil - I was pretty ignorant about the Resi games to be honest, but having not really been a fan of Zombie films I didn't think I'd like Zombie games, so the Resi series never interested me. Then my friend lent me REmake for the Gamecube and I loved it. It's funny but it was the opperset f...
