Re: The DOS games thread

I can never get any to work - it's to fiddly. The last 2 games I tried, Baku Baku Animal and Al Qadim - The Genies Curse were both epic fails. Baku spat some weird error and to rub salt in the wounds the error was in Japanese! I don't remember why Al Qadim doesn't work but it's sat on my deskto doin...

I'd advise against using anything in aerosol cans as its solvent based and is likely to damage the cardboard. It even damages some plastics. And again itll probally make cardboard wet.

Re: The Most Pirated Games of 2010

Have you ever taped a film for TV on to VHS (dvdr nowadays) and kept it? I'm betting you have on the regular. It's no different to videogame piracy except as in it became so widespread it became "exceptable" to do it. I don't think that's the same at all to be honest. If you'd watched it on TV inst...

[WANTED] Anybody have a PSP they don't want?

My DSi flashcart has broken and I need something for emulation. The DSi is too underpowered for the most part anyway and dosen't even have a Sam Coupe emu so no Manic Miner for me as the sam has the best version. My best option is to get a PSP instead of a new flashcard. I've been checking ebay out ...

I Think it costs £40 for a mifi device - not too bad. If your pc modem is wireless you should be able to do it with no extra equipment.

Never use steam on cardboard. If the glue is particularly nasty you will end up with soggy cardboard long before the glue melts.

Re: Consoles via Monitors

Depends on your budget xrgb is horredously expensive to import out of Japan £140 (http://www.consolesandgadgets.com/catalog/xrgb2-plus-upscan-converter-p-1516.html?currency=GBP&page=1). And thats if you can find one in stock. Try a super VGA box maybe? http://www.consolesandgadgets.co.uk/catalog/sup...
