Re: Artcade book

Wow, only just read through all this, very happy to have decided against backing it now, its a shame a publisher screwed him but the "off the books" stuff surely was agreed on by both parties and such shady practices can come back to haunt people. Likewise it's very sad for him to have lost his moth...

Re: Heart of gaming has had a break in

Tragic that this has happened, i don't really know much about HOG as it's in London and i don't really like visiting there if i can help it but it's great that a Retro arcade has done well for itself and sad to see it ruined like this, luckily this community is pretty strong and by the looks of the ...

Re: Game Room Downsizing

I think the ROM vs Real battle is always a weird one in your head and is very much down to the individual, i think age is also a factor sometimes For example my dad still buys CDs and has a massive collection of music on a variety of formats, he's not a collector it's just that's how he prefers his ...

Re: Game Room Downsizing

While i'm not normally one for flash carts and the like i imagine you could save significant space by switching to these as a compromise? heck there's even a GX4000 one now and i know someone who'd buy your games :p All joking aside i feel for you, i may well end up losing my space one of these days...

Re: When a retro collection gets too big.

Yes. Which is why I'm slowly going through my stuff and selling it off. The Nuon bits have gone now, next is the N64DD (of sorts), then I'll need to look at the 2600 and Cube stuff, and then finally the C64 and Vic20. It's going to be a hard, long process to decide what gets cut, and then trying to...
