Re: Is the forum in decline?

If it's not dead it's deffo collecting it's pension while it's grown up offspring shop for retirement homes to stuff it into. I recently caught in the re-IP banning of Chiptune after he apparently tried to come back. Way I see it this place probably needs the activity . Almost never see staff on her...

Re: Favourite Resident Evil?

I think I would have to say Resi 2 was my favourite, just about squeezing Remake. I played it the most at the time, even did the Hank(?) scenario (but not the Tofu guy), though don't feel any need to go back. Occasionally I think of getting R2 Remake or replaying Resi 4 but I just play Dead Space in...

Re: What's Your Favorite Driving/Racing Game Ever?

Hard to choose a favourite. Maybe SNES F-Zero, original Gran Turismo, original Wipeout, first Forza, arcade Daytona or PGR2?

Re: Gamecube - your favourite title and collecting

I've started to build a modest NTSC collection, managed to recently get Smash Bros Melee for a sensible price. What I'm really after now is Prince Of Persia Sands of Time, but it seems to be the only NTSC POP game nobody in the UK is selling/trading. Fav games were F-ZERO GX , PN03, viewtiful joe, ...

Re: What's Your Favorite Driving/Racing Game Ever?

Yeah GC Burnout played extremely well, though it was weak in sound and music. I actually bought it based on a very positive review in Edge. More recently, I'm enjoying non-racing driving games like Mudrunner and Farm Sim 19. Very relaxing games. I fancy Euro Truck Sim but haven't made a decision on ...

Yep I thought Shadows of the Empire wasn't bad - have to remember it was a launch title as well for the N64 so probably the go-to game if you wanted something beyond Mario 64.
Yeah for a long time I brother (who owned the 64) had only Shadows and PES.

I've never played Resi 3 yet, it's in my pile of shame. I somehow went 1, 2, 4.
Yeah me too. I had Zero on GC and never even fired it up.
I actually went 2 (PS1), ReMake (GC) then 4 (Xbox) and haven't played any since.

Re: The most disappointed you've ever been in a release

APB on the CPC (lol). Played the arcade machine while on holiday, got home having found a copy for the Amstrad and it didn't even load. More recently, Doom 3, Thief 3 and Homeworld 2 all were released about the same time. I loved the games that had come before but hated all 3 of these. Prett much ki...

Re: PS3 - retro??

Later models are supposed to be more reliable. The earlier fat models are PS2 backwards compatible but had many issues with the hardware.
I think all PS3s can play PS1 games?

Re: Quake II Fully Ray Traced

I seem to recall the Geforce 4 MX (the MX being the budget model) basically was a Geforce 2.
