Re: What grinds your gears ?

Re: Why has the forum become so negative?

I tend to assume that most discussion forums inherently lean toward the negative and all positives should be celebrated as exceptional victories. But I do like being a consistent lighthearted voice in what can sometimes feel like a pool of pessimism.

Re: Water Games

Re: Games anti piracy methods

I remember the original Mechwarrior game (ahhh, good times) on PC having a callsign response test at the opening, but considering that the answers were generic alphabetic correspondents (Alpha, Beta, Papa, Tango, etc.), you could just keep entering "Papa" until it worked! Or something like that... I...

Re: RIP Leslie Nielsen

:(

Airplane is one of my all-time favorite movies, largely thanks to Leslie Nielsen's classic, dead-on delivery. He will be missed.

Re: Strange gaming 'ticks'

FPS players know that often "strafing" (that is, walking at an angle while side-stepping) is faster than walking. Whether it is Goldeneye or Halo, I am always strafing, and cannot walk in a straight line. On Perfect Dark, player files actually kept track of the distance you traveled on foot, and I h...

One more 32X recommendation: Blackthorne. It's like Prince of Persia on an alien planet with a shotgun.

Re: Handheld Atari Jaguar Anyone?

Will there eventually be a limit to what can be made portable? Like, can a portable XBox360 really realistically be created?

Re: If you could own any item or object from a game...

... I absolutely love this question, and it deserves a lot more thought put into it.

But my first answer is: The Goron Mask in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (N64).
