Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

Received a CD-i 210 with a pile of discs from my surprisingly supportive gf. Better than a kick in the balls.

Ordered Pilot Wings Resort and Vita Lumines today.

Re: Best Mode 7 Games

I have Street Racer on the SNES and really don't rate it at all. Can't imagine the MD version is any better.

Re: Playstation Vita games discussion thread

The screen seemed quite "grippy" to touch when I first got my Vita out of the box. I was sure there must have been a plastic cover over the top. Just needs some getting used to. Not too sure about the styling of the system either, it already seems a bit dated to look at unless that's just me. Not a ...

Re: Gameboy

I actually find the original Gameboy screen to be fine. Up until recently I took mine with me on most train journeys, until it occured to me that it's pretty much in mint condition. So I got myself a GB Pocket in order to preserve the original. Can't beat playing Tetris on the Gameboy Light, in the ...

Re: Playstation Vita games discussion thread

Just picked up my Vita WiFi from HMV for £215, with Uncharted and Everybody's Golf.

Had some serious shoppers guilt in there. God knows what I'll be like when the PS4 comes out. I must get that perfume for the Mrs now..

There's is a noticeable difference in resolution and quality over the standard CD versions.
Seems like a lot of faffing about to achieve not a lot. No wonder it flopped.

Question about Sega CD 32X games

Given that these games played from a CD, how exactly did the 32X provide enhancement just by sitting on top of the Mega Drive?

Are any of the games released for this "format" actually any good?

Re: Best 10 Phillips CDi games if they exist :-)

I'm always on the lookout for a bargain CDi player (I've got Tetris already). I know it probably makes more sense to go for the 450 I prefer the style of the 220.

Re: Are you a fan of the Watara Supervision?

I got one of these a year or so ago. A lot bigger unit than I realised, yes it blurs a bit but I quite enjoy the Tennis 92 game

I'd naively considered getting one back in 1992 due to the apparent cost savings, but the naff games catalogue brought me back to my senses.

Re: Are you a fan of the Gizmondo?

Build quality is excellent The build quality is far from excellent unfortunately. It looks good and feels good to hold, but there's a common issue with the controls/buttons. I've had three Gizmondos (all in excellent, virtually unused condition) and all three of them had issues with button sensitiv...
