no mario 3, mario bros, yoshi's island, mario 64, zelda orcania of time, street fighter alpha 3, Garou mark of the wolves, shenmue, jet set radio, or nights,. Worst list ever, that whole list is just mainly 8 bit computer games, fact is in reality you would struggle to find one game on the 8 bit co...

Re:
@ muse hunter -> If these are your views, what the f**k are you doing on a "Retro Gaming" forum. Without the 8-bit era, the 16-bit (32-bit, 64-bit, get my meaning) would not exist. The 8-bit computers (and games) set the standard, and cosidering the (lack of) technical specification, these machines...

Re:
Graphics cannot beat gameplay, no chance. maybe not but it helps, i love retro but with newer consoles we have more possibilities, more chances to make greater experiences then previously. 5 yrs ago i would have taken shenmue over any game ever made, today i would take oblivion over shenmue. With e...

if you took away your rose tinted glasses and the nostalgia then you would see that the 8 bit computers don't stand up to the classic titles the home consoles provided. I have no love for the home computers so i can see them for what they are, i. e a waste of space and precious time. Classic games c...

the price guide is flawed, if retro gamer wasnt to keep it they should change it drastically. Firstly why bother with game and watch? unless you are going to list them all, putting them all under one banner with a £1 - £200+ is a waste of time. Secondly there isn't enough space, maybe retrogamer c...

Re:
I do realise that the Neo-Geo was much bigger in Japan and has some wonderful games for it. But that means little when seen on the shelf of WH Smith. The Amstrad brand is know by all and the CPC 464 even got a mention on the grand final of The Apprentice (well actually the interview programme after...

Re:
SNK vs Capcom for the price is worth a laugh. It's broken to the point of brokingdom but well, what you gonna do? It's sorta like Capcom Fighting Jam as well, it's worth it for a laugh and a carry on like. To be honest all neogeo games feel out of place when they move from their host hardware. I en...

1) Saturn 2) Super Famicom 3) Neo Geo AES hmmm... this was difficult, the problem is my top 3 always changes, it just depends on the consoles i'm loving at the moment. Saturn is number 1 simply because of the huge amount of great games on the console, there must be about 50 games on the format worth...

Goemon 64, Fatal Fury, streets of rage 1-3, and super tennis are a few which i believe have failed to stand the test of time, great back in the day, today, well they aren't worth my time. Those who mention street fighter 2 on this tread must be insane, its still one of the best 2D fighters ever. fact.
