Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

Well it looks.............interesting https://thumbs.gfycat.com/TediousCalculatingAtlasmoth-size_restricted.gif I did have some interest in the Switch but after seeing this it's now making me cringe. I am sick of Nintendo and it's quirks, please let Sega come back into the console market as Nintend...

Re: Retro Pi or Wii

This may be a daft question, I do have a ps2 controller adapter for my Xbox. So could I use this to use a ps2 arcade stick on my original Xbox for mame etc ?
I don't have a ps2 controller to try it and don't want to waste money if it won't work

Retro Pi or Wii

Basically which one for emulation, I have a Modded original Xbox with Coin Ops 7 etc but hate the controller. So what is my best option a Raspberry pi 3 unit or a Wii with homebrew channel. Or something else but not a pc, any advice would be greatly appreciated

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

I am seriously considering selling my PS4 Pro as I'm bored to death with the current gen consoles and preordering a Nintendo Switch, I may regret it but I just want something different.
I really like the looks of it especially with Zelda being a launch title

Atari classics volume 1 and 2

Has anybody bought any of these compilations on ps4, I think each volume has fifty games on ? I'm very tempted but £15.99 seems a little steep to me, I also notice Alpha Mission 2 has also been released again very tempted. It would be nice if they released some sort of retro controller for this type...

Re: Where does "Retro" end?

To me retro never ends, It's what you make of it, Arguing about, what's right and the wrong, when retro began and stopped is a personal point of view. It is quite simple, Retro gaming has no set definition as it is different for everybody mainly due to age or when you first started gaming. It is a ...

Re: Darksiders Warmastered Edition

Try this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLQyLqA2WAo Tried it about twenty times, it works until I equip the mask of shadows again to use it like I need to progress in the game. Unfortunately it doesn't look like a fix is available or if the developer is going to do anything about it. As long as you...

Darksiders Warmastered Edition

Any body else playing this, I have 23hours into it on PS4 Pro, it's an amazing game I am at the end now but I have a huge problem. I cannot complete the game, I have the Mask of Shadows but can't use it. Apparently a glitch existed from the original release and it's still in this version. I am absol...

I think it was to do with the Xbox 360 and PS3 having such a long lifespan which is fair enough, as they certainly aren't retro in my eyes.

Re: New Rogue One Trailer

Me and my son went before Xmas, being a huge Star Wars fan it filled in the how did they get the plans for the Death Star missing link very well indeed. I purposely didn't watch anything before going to the cinema not even a trailer so didn't know what to expect. It may have started slowly but it wa...

I have loads of them especially Battle and Crash magazine possibly the greatest magazine ever the artwork was amazing. Maybe Super Play can give it a run for its mo...

Re: Where does "Retro" end?

Retro will never end, it's all subjective to the individual, for me I view the Ps2, Xbox and GameCube with everything before it retro. I also class myself as retro as being in my forties I have virtually been around from the beginning, I have my Spectrum and ZX81 framed on my wall but only play PS4 ...
