Re: What are you currently playing?

Mafia is still an incredible achievement to this day. The storytelling is still on another level, it blows stuff like GTA completely out of the water in that regard. The twists in the game are legit brilliant as well, and while 2 was not as good, it still managed to tell a good story (no idea about...

Re: What are you currently playing?

After not having played one of my favourite games for some years, loaded up Mafia seeing as though it works on Windows 10 beautifully (and didn't on Win 7). Wow, such a difference from playing it last time, sandboxies have certainly come a long way. But the acting.. the script.. just genius! What an...

Re: CBM64 or C64?

it just got truncated as time went by didn't it? Kind of like the IBM PC, then just became PC. But CBM64, no, I don't use that term at least anymore, don't think I ever have

Re: What's Your Favorite Driving/Racing Game Ever?

Seeing this thread topic made me realise just how few racers Ive played of late. And my favourites.. hmm lets see now. If I had to choose one, as op requests in title, I would have to say Dirt 2. The feel of it is just perfect for mine, and the tracks were designed so very well, I couldn't stop play...

Re: Video game documentaries?

just about to watch "Ecstasy Of Order - The Tetris Masters" again. I think after The King Of Kong this could be my second favourite video game documentary. Will see what I think, after I watch it again. :)

Re: Zzap64 Annual kickstarter now open

Pin badges... there are loads of great perks, but bloody pin badges really don't do it for me. I'd love to be 13 again, but I am in my late 40's and my kids think I'm strange enough already. true, true, but the perks further up look good, specifically the little c64 book, that sounds good. Bu...

Re: Coleco Evolved

hmmm.. you know what, I had to click on this because Ive always loved the idea of mini arcade tabletops, and they always looked better than they played, and you know, if there was a selection of say three or 5 classics I might just have backed this. Classics perhaps with an arrangement option so you...

Re: Which arcade game were you best at

I love DK, although I'm pretty crap at it. Must give it another go. Games I tended to go well at were Elevator Action, Pooyan, Gyruss :) Ive got to the point on DK where its more a matter of endurance, I wanted to see what a kill screen was like so I put cheats on for the first time on mame and pla...
