Re: More Vic 20 in the mag?

actually I was incorrect, it was I believe 8 powerpacks, and all in 2 weeks. Thankfully they come in handy though working or not, if the kids are ever out of line these things make a brilliant replacement for a cat-o-nine tails, just grab a handful of the cables at one time, swing around the head li...

Re: Games I would like to see in the magazine

oh brilliant, thank you Craig, I shall hunt this down immediately now. I've read bits about it's creation in Douglas Adams bio's but not much so I am looking forward to it!

Re: More Vic 20 in the mag?

The most interesting thing about the Vic-20 was how, no matter how many times it was replaced or repaired, the power pack never seemed to work. We went through something like 5 until we realised that ultimately, it wasn't quite worth it. The best games were Radar Ratrace and Arcadia; everything else...

Re: Games I would like to see in the magazine

heaven's above, where to start. Well I'll narrow it down to the most urgent at the forefront of my mind. Personal Nightmare (Amiga). Hard as hell but there's no other game quite like it. Re: Issue 81 - Official Feedback Thread

Which of course is...

Re: Issue 81 - Official Feedback Thread

Loved the cover, just love the general professionalism and amount of effort and detail that goes into the whole mag each month, agree would love to see a point-and-click feature as adventure games are my faves, and need more funny letters in mailbag like the Vic-20 one. A staggering amount of games ...

I love reading Iain's column each month, I always get a good hearty laugh from it and love his writing style. I wish he'd do more actually!

1. Monkey Island 2 (Amiga)
2. The Dark Eye (PC)
3. Personal Nightmare (Amiga)

They do it for me.
