Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

Seasons 1 and 2 of You. Very good, the plot is a bit of a stetch sometimes but it's a very entertaining watch.

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

Pre-ordered Tokyo Mirage Sessions, I was on the fence about the game but I figured it may be rare to get hold of in future. Looks utterly barmy.

Re: What grinds your gears ?

People's inability to accurayely describe things they're selling, would save us both a lot of hassle if they could.

Re: The Star Wars thread

Capitalist-produced iPhones? You do know that they're made in China, right? The films might be a bit naff, but this discussion is comedy gold. Yes I'm aware they are made in China. The word "produced" can refer to more than the physical creation of something, I was talking about the economic ...

Re: The Star Wars thread

That's not politics, that's outright conspiracy theory. Ok. Well, I don't doubt there are pop culture consumers hypocritically LARP-ing as marxists, socialists, communists and whatever other hip political identities from their capitalist-produced I-Phones, nevertheless I maintain the politics...

Re: The Star Wars thread

I reallly enjoyed it. Think people over analyse it too much. Was good entertainment. Never gonna please everyone as JJ said The thing is I never went into the cinema to over analayse it, it's Star Wars, I wanted to swept away and caught up in what's going on, and I just couldn't because the film is...

Re: The Star Wars thread

Yep, it's a mess of a film. Prinny's list above only scratches the surface of it's problems. Some of my complaints can't even be discussed here, since Star Wars has been co-opted as a political vehicle to push the enemy of entertainment and reason that is 'wokeness'.

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

Personally, I'm not fussed. Having to swap cartridges just to play a different game is starting to feel very antiquated to me. It's the fiddly cart slot flap I cant be arsed with. On the plus side maybe it will help me stick to one game and see it through. I was given Darksiders for Christmas and I...

Re: The Star Wars thread

Just saw Rise Of The Skywalker. :| It's the epitome of a "leave your brain at the door" film. The film is generally fast paced, almost to a fault sometimes. It's glossy and exciting so if you just go with it you can have a good time. But there's so many unanswered questions. I'm not normally bothere...

The big Christmas Sale starts on the 19th, with the promise of over 700 deals.
Might pick up Owlboy and Ori.

By the way, the sale includes 3DS and Wii U. Radiant Historia and Persona Q on 3DS are only £8 and £9 each, way cheaper than you'd have to pay for physical copies these days.

Re: What grinds your gears ?

Thanks guys, got my refund from Amazon sorted. The seller's feedback score is now down to 8%! Virtually nobody got their stuff this month, and nobody got a reply from them, just what you need at Christmas. One the plus side I've actually had some great customer service from private ebay sell...
