Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

OK, I finally buckled and purchased a new Switch (with a Labo thing) for £248 direct from Nintendo. Not ordered any games yet - this will mainly be for the family BUT I do expect to get plenty of time on it after bed time ;) SO - for the kids (girl 10 and Boy 14 - he plays plenty of nasty gun game ...

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

Just noticed Super Chariot is just 89p in the current e-shop sale.

I briefly tried the demo which was ok, so I thought it's probably worth picking up. At that price it's surely worth giving the demo a look, especially for anyone who regularly plays co-op.

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

Is that a joke or are you trolling? Just in case you're being serious, I'd ask simply that you reconsider what you posted and maybe have a think about just some of the big titles that came out recently. you must have some of the best experience with computer games . I followed gamecube had nearly a...

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

There are some good Micros SD card deals on amazon and perhaps elsewhere at the moment, tempted to upgrade but the limited space I have is actually stopping me from making more probably unnecessary digital purchases.

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

Had an interesting "debate" recently on Twitter with a self proclaimed "real gamer", who dismissed the Switch (and Nintendo as a whole) out of hand. Apparently, there are no AAA titles for Switch. Games such as Mario Odyssey, BOTW, Mario Kart etc are just "indie games". And his rationale? Nintendo ...

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

The Watchmen series has been very disappointing so far, mainly because of all the "woke-ness". Yet somehow it's kept me watching to be fair, mainly due to Jeremy Irons.

Muramasa: The Demon Blade was a highly regarded Samurai-ish game. I owned it briefly and while it looked beautiful I found the gameplay a bit repetitive.

Re: What grinds your gears ?

Speaking of cars, buying car insurance is a painful experience, at least for me. The jargon, the endless Ts & Cs, the threat of giving false information leading to you being tarred and feathered, makes it all very head battering.

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

Apparently if you pre-orded the digital version of Samurai Shodown on the Switch early next year, you also get the Samurai Shodown 2 Neo Geo Pocket Colour game. Think I'd still prefer a physical version, assuming there is one.

For Samurai's - I've always loved the Samurai Shodown series.
I really liked the look of the recent one, it's supposed to be coming to the Switch but I don't know when.
