Almost time to get the next issue so here's my thoughts on Issue 51. Radar - A Wonderboy movie? At first I thought this was a late April fool. Can't see this happening. Collectors Corner - Took me ages to stop drooling at the pages! Back to.. - Quite topical that Mr Everiss and Imagine are mentioned...

Just downloaded the .pdf and I'm very impressed - especially enjoyed the interviews with the former staff members of AA. Spotted a couple of errors in the game reviews (the same comment used after the 'Overall' score on a couple of games), but on the whole, its excellent. Will definetly buy a printe...

Its not just the official mags that hate retro games, PSM3 were giving bad ratings to anything that wasn't new.

The point of it all was what people thought about the 2 options only polls for the mag - I suppose, bearing in mind we know the result before it hits the mag, I wonder if its worth doing at all? (and yes, I know forum chaps are not the only readers) A lot of the Imagine mags do these tie-in polls o...

Re: Why Isn't the RETRO book from GamesTM available at eShop

And, when will we get CD archives we can buy of Retro Gamer and GameTM .... at least the RETRO section in Games TM please! There are CD's on sale (known as emag's) with the contents of RG and GamesTM. Don't quote me but I think the GamesTM bookazine is an 'extra' on the RG CD. EDIT - Just checked a...

As far as I know - I don't bother with the 'free' DVDs so I'm relying on the content of the mag to be extra impressive from now on! :)

It'll be interesting to see how the new-look nrev does (the new issue goes on sale from Thursday). Phil King is the new Editor so he certainly has the experience of working in games journalism.

'Kill your friends' by John Niven - Its set in 1997 around an A&R man who ends up killing a colleague and framing another one. Not for the faint hearted (due to the excessive descriptions used) but its really funny and a gripping read.
