Re: Star Wars: The Phantom Menace in 3D Opening Feb.10 2012

Star Wars has always been for children. Just because the occasional "Kidult" goes gaga over it doesn't make it in any way for an adult market. The writing and characterisation is beyond appauling. The worst fan fiction beats the best Lucas-written dialogue into a cocked hat. It just has lightsabres...

DELICIOUS! And because they're so incredibly salty they go surprisingly well with fizzy drinks.

Re: iPad 2

No Flash and no USB is still a productivity dealbreaker for me. Maybe Apple should stop being so US-centric and realise people in Europe would like to use them too.

I liked him best in Apocalypse now and those furniture polish adverts. . . . http://thechive.files.wordpress.com/2011/03/anigif_the-definitive-charlie-sheen-is-fcking-crazy-gif-22533-1298924636-18.gif?w=500&h=262 I think you meant his DAD Martin Sheen! Charlie was only about 13 at the time. Not eve...

Re: Gaming's biggest tool?

Another tool of note has to be Gears of War designer Cliff Bleszinski. He's such an absolute wang that I can't read any more articles his picture appears in. Such a big-headed douche.

Re: Oh look... A live-action CHAKAN.

I think perhaps Robin acknowledges that in 2011 there's a massive ocean of fan film-makers out there and so is trying to generate some buzz (and some distance) for himself from the crowd. I can't blame him for that at least. Still, like Videogames that inspire him, massively overblown hype + outrage...

Re: Who's getting a 3DS then?

I'm not the sort of person who would use a handheld console, but when you can get a Wii for £150 (possibly less, though that's what I just found), and a PS3 for £196, paying £197 for a 3DS seems totally ludicrous to me. And people complained for years about the price of a PS3! I think the iPhone (a...

Re: Who's getting a 3DS then?

I'm willing to put money on no revised 3DS console within 12 months. Maybe a different colour, but not revised hardware. There's nothing missing, it's not too big, etc. Wouldn't even surprise me if we didn't see revised hardware at all. Look at Wii for example. That's never changed, except for the ...

Re: Bored Of My PS3.

probably because you are dealing with games all day long you become a bit nonfazed by them especially when you don't need to buy them, mind you i did get bored with my ps3 and traded for a xbox 360. I work in the car industry and over the years have become less excited about the new car models that...

Re: Who's getting a 3DS then?

I'll maybe buy one come Xmas time when shops usually throw them at you in a bad bid to get sales. By then the newer revision 3DS's will be out.
In other words whatever was left intentionally missing from revision 1 (earphone jack, backlight, whatever) will be added.

Bobby Kozcheck or whatever his name is. Complete and utter censored If it's Bobby Kotick you're after then I'm with you 100%. The man's a legend in his own mind. The only reason he's lasted so long at Activision is that a) Shareholders aren't gamers, they're shareholders and b) he makes them a LOT ...

Chakan. A game that 15 people knew about, 6 people owned and one person actually managed to complete.
Sounds like an ultra-niche market for a film, mate. Good luck though. :D
